A friendship planted in the garden Your faithfulness helped Christania sow
As Christania, a Quiet Hour Ministries gospel worker, walked outside her home in her quiet Indonesian village to pick vegetables, she didn’t expect to meet someone whose heart God had been preparing.
That’s when she met Wulandari—known to her neighbors as Mama Sarla—who was sweeping her front yard.
A warm greeting led to an invitation, and a friendship began to grow.
seeds of hope
Your support helps open hearts
Mama Sarla, a devoted wife and mother of three, had trained as a midwife but chose to stay home to raise her children.
Though Mama Sarla was Muslim, she welcomed Christania with kindness and curiosity.
Mama Sarla and Christania bonded over traditional meals like kapurung and shared meaningful conversations—about health, family, and eventually faith.

You’re planting seeds of faith
As trust deepened, Christania began teaching not only about healthy cooking, but also Bible truths.
During one visit, Mama Sarla asked thoughtful questions about Adventist beliefs on death and “halal” meat (“lawful” or “permissible” according to Islam).
Though she hasn’t yet decided to follow Jesus, her heart remains open—and her friendship with Christania continues to grow.
But the Holy Spirit has already moved powerfully in her home.
Families say “Yes!” to Christ— thanks to YOU!
The seed planted in that front-yard meeting has already begun to bear fruit.
Through Christania’s gentle witness and regular visits, other family members made the decision to follow Christ.

A chance meeting leads to a growing church
You empower gospel workers and transform lives
One Sabbath evening in Zambia, a gospel worker was riding his ministry motorcycle home from church when he met a man who introduced himself as the headman of a nearby village.
You help open doors to new communities
“When I told him I’m a man of God, he eagerly asked for Bible studies at his home,” the gospel worker shared.
Thanks to the motorcycle you and other donors helped to provide, the gospel worker was able to return the next week with his team.

Because of you, gospel workers like Thomas are reaching hearts in even the most remote places.
The headman welcomed them warmly, along with several villagers he invited to join the Bible study.
Your support nurtures growing faith
Week after week, the gospel worker faithfully led these gatherings, teaching God’s Word and encouraging the group. The headman’s enthusiasm grew, inspiring others in the village to explore their faith.
Eventually, the headman expressed his desire to join the Seventh-day Adventist Church and began preparing for baptism, praise God!
His journey of faith is now inspiring many in his community to seek a closer relationship with Jesus.
You equip gospel workers to reach farther
This encounter between the gospel worker and headman shows how gospel workers bring God’s love into remote places, transforming lives through patient, consistent ministry.
Your support equips gospel workers to reach those who might otherwise never hear the Good News. Thank you for partnering with us to share Jesus worldwide.

Because you give, they can go!
People can’t believe in Jesus unless someone tells them about Him—and someone can’t go unless they’re sent (Romans 10:14-15).
At Quiet Hour Ministries, we support gospel workers from around the world—both local believers serving in their own communities and those sent internationally. Every worker we partner with is backed by people like you—believers who care deeply that the name of Jesus is heard and lives are transformed.
Thank you for helping to make this possible!
Your prayers, gifts, and encouragement are vital, and your impact reaches far beyond what you can see.
Let’s keep going. Together, we’re part of something eternal, touching lives for Christ one step at a time.
Edward R. Marton

In cities, villages, and remote corners of the world, gospel workers are quietly and faithfully sharing the Good News.
They are not strangers—they’re community members. They know the language. They understand the culture. They’ve built relationships. And they’re telling their neighbors about Jesus.
Because of donor support, they’re able to dedicate their day to sharing Christ: studying Scripture with new believers, praying with the hurting, and pointing people to a lasting hope in Jesus.
But this work depends on you. Your support empowers them to keep going. Will you come alongside a gospel worker today?
