PRODUCT SHOWCASE

NEW PRODUCTS FOR GEN 3 HONDA GROMS

We’ve got the Honda Grom covered with accessories like a groovy freeway bar, a solo rack, a backrest with its optional rack, and a nifty turn-signal relocator. These accessories are available in a gloss black finish only. And to make the bike sound better and perform better we’ve crafted a 50-state legal muffler in black with a rolled tip with either a lollipop red end cap and badge or a bronzed version. All products are made in the USA.

Women In The News

We have a wide variety of stories for you in this issue for both two- and four-wheel segments of the sport, as well a 15-page Special Section filled with features about products for the upcoming Snowmobile season.

Also, there are a couple of race reports and stories that call attention to the combined success of some women making big news in racing this year. On page 16, we have a report on the AMA Motocross season finale at Budds Creek. In addition to THOR’s Haiden Deegan winning the ‘Men’s’ 250cc National Motocross title, 18-year-old Lachlan Turner—best known as “LaLa”—also took top honors there in Moose Offroad gear in the Women’s Motocross Championship, defending her 2024 title. And for more about LaLa’s racing career, check out her profile starting on page 58.

Another bright spot for women in racing this year came in late-August at the 99th annual International Six Days Enduro in Bergamo, Italy. For the third consecutive year, Team USA took top honors in the Women’s Trophy Team competition. Headliners included Moose Offroad riders Brandy Richards and Rachel Gutish, two of the three American riders to bring home the Women’s Trophy Team Gold. Read all about it in the story on page 54, and enjoy the photographs from Mark Kariya.

Lastly, be sure to check out the 10-page pictorial starting on page 24 from the recent NVP Product Expo in Milwaukee. One of the two major dealer shows put on by LeMans Corporation each year, this one in Milwaukee was reportedly their biggest yet.

The three stand-out product categories featured at the show were Adventure Bikes, Side-by-Sides and, for the V-twin dealers, Carbon Fiber fenders and other new products for street riders that were developed and race-proven in Bagger competitions. The Bagger Racing League even had two of the leading builders of “Race Baggers” there who each converted during show hours a street-legal Harley touring bike into a race-ready Bagger.

The NVP Product Expos are really great events to not only see new products, but to talk to factory representatives, many who actually designed the products on display. The next one isn’t that far off. We hope to see you in Louisville in January. ■

NEWS EVENTS AND Minear Crowned the SMX Next World All-Stars Champion

YAMAHA BLU CRU RIDERS SWEEP ST. LOUIS PODIUM

THOR/Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing’s Kayden

Minear claimed the 2025 SMX Next World All-Stars Championship, delivering a 1-2 finish across the title-deciding doubleheader inside The Dome at America’s Center in St. Louis, Missouri.

The two-round amateur championship was condensed into a single weekend after weather forced the cancellation of the Charlotte opener. Minear made the most of it. He kicked off the weekend with a dominant win in Friday’s re-scheduled main event, then followed it up with a second-place finish in Saturday’s double-points finale to seal the title.

“I felt good out there all weekend. The bike has been great,” Minear said. “We got some really good laps in, and that gave me a good spot on the gate. I got a really good start in the moto and kind of just rode it home from there.”

Yamaha BLU CRU riders were a force across the board, taking four of the top five overall championship positions and sweeping Saturday’s podium. Altus Motorsports BLU CRU Yamaha’s Kade Johnson finished second in the standings (6-3), while Muc-Off/FXR/ ClubMX Yamaha’s Ryder Malinoski bounced back from a tough first moto (25th) to win Saturday’s race and secure fourth overall.

Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing teammates Caden Dudney and Carson Wood saw mixed results. Dudney recovered from a crash in the first moto to finish ninth, then rode to fourth in the finale to end the weekend fifth overall. Wood opened strong with a secondplace finish on Friday, but an early crash in Saturday’s race relegated him to 21st and 15th in the final standings.

Minear’s title marked a strong statement for both Yamaha’s amateur program and the future of the Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing team as it continues to build momentum going into the next Supercross season. ■

NEWS EVENTS AND Nine Rounds, 20 Superbike Races

2026 MARKS 50TH ANNIVERSARY SEASON OF AMA SUPERBIKE RACING

MotoAmerica, North America’s premier motorcycle road racing series announces its nine-round, 20-race MotoAmerica Superbike Championship in 2026. The season kicks off in mid-April at Road Atlanta, and concludes in late September at New Jersey Motorsports Park.

The 2026 championship will also mark the 50th anniversary of the first official AMA Superbike race held at Daytona International Speedway in March of 1976. Reg Pridmore captured that Superbike Championship on a BMW R90S.

All nine rounds next year will feature the premier Superbike and Motovation Supersport classes, with the Superbikes again set to have two tripleheaders – at VIRginia International Raceway and New Jersey Motorsports Park.

In addition to the Superbike and the newly revised Superbike Cup and Supersport classes, the championship will feature five additional classes at select rounds: Mission King

of the Baggers, Parts Unlimited Talent Cup by Motul, Twins Cup, Mission Super Hooligan National Championship, and Royal Enfield Build.Train.Race.

The 2026 Motovation Supersport series will consist of 19 races as the 84th running of the Daytona 200 will be the opening round of the championship, March 5-7, in Daytona Beach, Florida, bringing even greater importance to the already prestigious Daytona 200. In the four years since MotoAmerica took over the running of the “Great American Motorcycle Race,” the 200 has been a standalone race and not a round of the Supersport Championship.

Paying championship points for the Daytona 200 is nothing new, as for the majority of its years it was the opening points race of the AMA Championship.

The sophomore season of the Parts Unlimited Talent Cup by Motul will see the ultra-competitive class racing 16 times, with the series’ youngest riders set to battle at all the Superbike rounds except for Road America and Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course. The Talent Cup racers will again get the chance to showcase their skills to the world as their series will begin at Circuit of The Americas during the MotoGP weekend in Texas, March 27-29.

Mission King of the Baggers will race 14 times next year, with doubleheaders at Daytona International Speedway, Road Atlanta, Road America, WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca, Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, Circuit of The Americas, and New Jersey Motorsports Park.

The Mission Super Hooligan National Championship will join the Baggers at six of the rounds – Daytona, Barber, Ridge Motorsports Park, Laguna Seca, Mid-Ohio, and VIR.

The ever-popular SC-Project Twins Cup will battle 14 times and will start its season at Daytona, with six more rounds at Road Atlanta, Barber, Road America, Mid-Ohio, VIR, and NJMP.

The women of the Royal Enfield Build.Train.Race. series will again chase an eight-race championship with their schedule set to be released shortly.

“This has been our best season to date,” said MotoAmerica COO Chuck Aksland. “The racing has been outstanding, and the Superbike Championship looks set to go right down to the last lap at New Jersey. We’ve had some incredible crowds this year and we can’t wait to see even more fans join us in 2026. Celebrating the 50th anniversary of AMA Superbike racing will make it a season to remember.” ■

NEWS EVENTS AND LeMans Returns to AIMExpo with Dealer Incentives, Customs Showcase, Free Coffee

Parts Unlimited and Drag Specialties parent company LeMans Corporation is making a high-impact return to AIMExpo for the show’s 2026 debut in Anaheim, California. The company will sponsor free coffee for attendees, offer exclusive dealer incentives, and anchor its exhibit with the iconic Drag Specialties semi. The AIMExpo is taking place January 7–9 at the Anaheim Convention Center.

“A shared passion is one of the outstanding things that makes this industry great,” said Cinnamon Kernes, Vice President of Market Expansion at the Motorcycle Industry Council, which

hosts AIMExpo. “When an event brings together the people, the brands, and the products of our industry, and adds the element of learning and networking, it’s an opportunity that can’t be missed.”

LeMans’s presence will be front and center at the show. Just inside the main entrance, The Starting Line will offer complimentary coffee, sponsored by Drag Specialties and Parts Unlimited. Nearby, the LeMans exhibit will showcase custom motorcycles and new product displays.

“At LeMans Corporation, we’re stepping up to ensure the powersports industry thrives,” said Paul Devine, Vice President of Sales & Marketing, LeMans Corporation. “By partnering with AIMExpo and becoming the exclusive coffee sponsor, we’re not only fueling dealer engagement – we’re also amplifying our brand presence as Supercross kicks off just blocks away.”

The collaboration between the MIC, AIMExpo, and LeMans extends beyond Anaheim. At the 2025 North American NVP Product Expo now in Milwaukee, the organizations partnered to give away 10 free MIC Dealer Memberships, underscoring a shared commitment to dealer success and cross-industry engagement. The 2026 NVP Product Expo kicks off in Louisville just two weeks after AIMExpo.

“AIMExpo is a strong complement to our 2025 show and 2026 NVP Product Expo in Louisville,” Devine said. “The events give us a chance to support and bring together our dealers, a mission that’s at the heart of everything we do.” ■

THOR/Star

2025 PRO MOTOCROSS CHAMPIONSHIP

HAIDEN DEEGAN AND LALA TURNER WIN AT BUDDS CREEK

DEEGAN TAKES FIVE 250CC CHAMPIONSHIPS IN THREE YEARS Align Media photos

In just three short years, THOR/Star Racing Yamaha’s Haiden Deegan has accomplished everything there is to accomplish in the 250cc class in professional motocross in the United States. In August 2022 Deegan raced onto the Pro Motocross stage and was immediately a front runner.

He won the 250cc SuperMotocross World Championship in his first year as a pro. He topped that off in his second year with the 250cc AMA Pro National Motocross Championship and scored another 250cc SuperMotocross World Championship in 2024.

For the 2025 season, he started by winning the 250cc Supercross West championship, the only thing he hadn’t won in the previous two years since turning pro. He topped off the season by winning the 250SX Showdown Main Event with

all the East and West 250 Supercross racers together to see who was the best 250cc Rider in Supercross. It was Deegan.

He followed Supercross with a dominating performance in the 250cc Pro Motocross Championship. He won seven races overall in the series, was second overall three times. He won the title by more than 50 points. He had not yet turned 20.

He started strong, with a 1-1 victory at the first round, followed by another 1-1 victory at Hangtown. The chance for a perfect season was interrupted at round three in Thunder Valley by rider Chance Hymas. Deegan went 2-2 for second overall. Then he won two in a row at Highpoint and Southwick. He put on a show on the hot sand track at Southwick. He not only went 1-1 for the undisputed overall victory but led both motos from start to finish with a 25 second lead in the first moto and another double-digit lead in the second.

Racing Yamaha rider Haiden Deegan is the 2025 Pro Motocross Champion!

After suffering a leg injury in qualifying at RedBud, he went to the starting line with a limp and after a poor start was charging to the front when he crashed. Still, he raced forward until his Yamaha started venting steam and he hit the ground again. With both him and his bike damaged he wisely nursed his way to the finish line in 14th place. In the second moto, he stunned the crowd by taking a secondplace finish and fifth overall.

The next round was only a week later, and Haiden was still visibly limping, but with no complaints or excuses. He rode brilliantly, winning moto one and finishing second in moto two for the overall victory.

Next came Washougal, Deegan was still limping yet set the fastest qualifying time. Deegan went to the line in moto 1 and got a decent start. He quickly raced to the front and had a dog-fight with Jo Shimoda, but Deegan held him off. Shimoda took the win in the second moto so his 2-1 beat Haiden’s 1-2 for the overall. The schedule then gave all the riders two weeks off and allowed Deegan a chance to heal up and go to work.

They returned to racing with three races left, Ironman, Unadilla and Budds Creek. Deegan spent the time off training, testing and healing, and showed why he was the points leader with an overall victory at Ironman, followed by a second overall at Unadilla. He sealed the deal with another overall at the series finale at Budds Creek, winning the final moto of the 250cc Pro Motocross season and taking his second 250cc Pro Motocross Championship.

It was a great season for the THOR rider and Deegan is the hottest prospect coming out of the 250 class. He already has his deal set for 2026 with Yamaha and there’s talk of him racing a 450cc next year.

Moose Offroad’s Lachlan “LaLa” Turner also had a strong 2025, winning nine out of 12 motos and never finishing off the podium for five overall wins of the six-round championship. Read more about Turner’s stellar season on page 58. ■

Right from the first round of the 2025 Pro Motocross Championships season, THOR/Yamaha rider Haiden Deegan dominated the field. He ended up winning the 250cc title by more than 50 points.

CRUNCH TIME

MOOSE OFFROAD ATHLETES BRING FALL SPICE TO OFF-ROAD RACING

Long summer days bring a welcomed break for off-road racers, but the mid-season lull is over as racing storms back into action from coast to coast, and around the world. Moose Offroad athletes continue to head the fields as championships heat up in the cool fall days.

The 99th ISDE in Bergamo, Italy, saw American women once again trounce the field en route to the Women’s World Trophy championship, the third in a row for Team USA. Headed by Moose Offroad’s Rachel Gutish and Brandy Richards, along with Korie Steede, the trio bested the field by an astounding 37 minutes. Richards also managed to top the individual standings once again, for the fourth time in her career. Faced with a long recovery after breaking her femur in March, the FMF KTM Factory Racing Team Landers rider was proud to get her speed back and come through for the team. “It was definitely one of the hardest things I ever had to do in my life,” said Richards. “I wanted to quit a lot. I never took time off, fitness-wise. I worked really hard to maintain that fitness, and build back my strength and confidence. I definitely struggled with that the first day [at Six Days] and then by the end of the first day, I was really comfortable and started to figure it out.”

As for her teammate Gutish, the 2025 event marked her 10th career ISDE, and she’s not done yet. The Factory Rieju rider

has lofty goals for the current season, and she is currently on the cusp of bringing home four separate championships. “I’m currently leading the FIM EnduroGP World Championship for the women,” Gutish said. “If I’m successful at winning that title, I’ll be the first American to have won an EnduroGP championship in any class. I’m really excited about that opportunity.”

The Moose Offroad rider is also contesting the AMA National Enduro Championship, the Canadian National Enduro Championship, and already has the TKO Hard Enduro Championship win to her name.

Another commendable effort from the Italian Six Days was Moose Offroad’s Danielle McDonald, the AmPro Yamaha rider heading up the runner-up finish for her home country Australia. McDonald also landed on the individual podium, carding third overall by a mere three seconds after six days of racing.

Grant Davis was also on the radar in Bergamo as a member of the Junior World Trophy Team for the U.S. and is causing an even bigger stir at home in the GNCC Series. The FMF KTM Factory Racing Landers rider is helping himself to more overall wins, his fourth in five rounds coming at the Mountaineer GNCC. The XC2 Pro rider is going from making history to making a new normal. The Moose Offroad rider now leads the overall championship and with one hand on the title, stands to make the rest of the pro field consider 250cc 4-strokes.

Moose Offroad’s Rachel Gutish not only helped Team USA Women win the ISDE Women’s World Trophy Championship, she’s also on the cusp of winning four separate off-road championships. Mark Kariya photo

In the XC1 Pro division, Flatrock Motorclub GASGAS Factory Racing’s Jordan Ashburn has helped himself to a couple wins, taking the XC1 Open Pro top spot at the Buckwheat 100 and Mountaineer GNCC rounds, second overall behind Davis each time. Ashburn also flexed his extreme enduro skills at the Hollow Point Hard Enduro, part of the AMA East Hard Enduro Series. Ashburn captured the prologue win and finished second in the Sunday feature race.

Out West, the World Off Road Championship Series (WORCS) awoke from its summer slumber for the second half of the season. Mason Semmens of the FMF RPM KTM Racing Team picked up right where he left off, dominating the Pro 250 field in his title defense. The Moose Offroad rider pushed his way through the field to third overall (combined moto scores) by the end of the event. Semmens ran into some hard luck at the following round at Glen Helen, and despite showing blazing speed and setting the fastest lap of the

day, mistakes on the final lap cost him the win. But a thirdplace keeps him well within the championship.

Semmens’ RPM KTM teammate and fellow Moose Offroad rider Noah Gordon is also on the rise, often finding himself in the race to watch. Consistent finishes have him solidly in the top-three in the WORCS Pro 250 division.

In the amateur ranks, Moose Offroad riders are also closing in on strong seasons, JoJo Cunningham in solid control of the GNCC 250 A division. The Phoenix Racing Honda rider had a tough time at the Mountaineer, but keeps a firm hand on the title. Lane Whitmer of the Enduro Engineering GASGAS team was able to wrestle a 250 A win away from Cunningham.

With more racing on the 2025 calendar for these talented riders, stay tuned to the Moose Offroad-clad athletes as they hunt down points in their quest for victory. ■

THOR AND MOOSE OFFROAD RIDERS STAND OUT

2025 LORETTA LYNN’S AMA AMATEUR NATIONAL MOTOCROSS CHAMPIONSHIP

The 44th annual Monster Energy AMA Amateur National Motocross Championship took place at Loretta Lynn’s Ranch in Hurricane Mills, Tennessee, beginning on Monday, July 28, and running through Saturday, August 2. For more than four decades, racing at The Ranch has been the ultimate goal for amateur motocross racers from every state.

It’s not easy to get there, a rider must race a series of local qualifiers and regional championships and earn enough points to get to the starting line against the best amateur riders from all over the country. The ultimate prize is an AMA Amateur National Championship and notice of the factory teams and other potential sponsors who often help riders throughout their amateur careers and transition into the Pro Motocross ranks.

For many years those sponsors have included Parts Unlimited, THOR and Moose Offroad. Moose Offroad supports off-road racing at all levels and disciplines, and has become the go-to for hard parts and their highperformance racing gear. Moose Offroad riders can be found from the deserts in the west to the woods of the GNCC. It’s not all off-road, however, Moose Offroad has been a staple of motocross as well. Moose Offroad is proud of its support for racers and riders at all levels.

THOR’s Josh Shorter lauded that event and its importance for lifting up amateur riders.

“Loretta’s this year was nothing short of unbelievable for THOR and our supported athletes. First and foremost, all due credit goes to our Rider Support Coordinator, Evan Valicenti,” said Shorter, THOR’s Global Brand Director. “Evan’s mission since joining us a couple of seasons ago has been to restore THOR’s presence in the amateur racing scene and Evan has made that happen in spades.”

Shorter, noted that THOR started the week with 55 inbound racers, and by the week’s end, had added more than a few more to the brand’s roster.

“THOR has always been a mainstay at the amateur level,” Shorter explained, “as the future of our sport needs the support and recognition that a brand like ours can provide, in order to grow through the ranks as these riders evolve toward a likely career in motocross racing.”

After a week of racing, Saturday’s closing day of racing finished with a celebration of the 36 class champions (many of whom were Moose Offroad and THOR riders) and specialty award recipients at the Monster Energy Awards Ceremonies. All 108 motos from the 2025 Monster Energy AMA Amateur National Motocross Championship were showcased live, from the first gate drop to the last, on Racer TV. ■

» Parts Magazine extends congratulations to all the Moose Offroad and THOR athletes and their families for the dedication and sacrifices made throughout the year to get to The Ranch. MILWAUKEE, WISCONSIN / SEPT. 6-7

Returning for its second year at the Baird Center in Milwaukee, the 2025 NVP Product Expo is now in the books as the best attended Parts Unlimited and Drag Specialties NVP held in Wisconsin. That’s quite an achievement for an event that already serves as the epicenter of the powersports aftermarket universe, and as the official kickoff to the coming sales season.

Parts Unlimited dealers, sales reps and vendors poured into Milwaukee in early September for two jam-packed days of product education and the invaluable opportunity to check out, in person, all the latest parts, accessories, gear and apparel heading to those Parts Unlimited catalogs.

The show also was the chance for dealers to meet faceto-face with their sales reps and the new and existing Parts Unlimited and Drag Specialties vendors. As it’s always been with the NVP experience, the gathering was about more than business. For many in the LeMans Corporation universe, it’s the chance to meet up with lifelong industry friends and catch up over quiet dinners and boisterous celebrations.

“The Parts Unlimited and Drag Specialties NVP Product Expo continues to solidify its position as a premier gathering for industry professionals, innovation, and the exchange of expertise,” said Paul Devine, Vice President of Sales & Marketing.

The expo showcased a wide array of new products, with new brands including Fist Handwear, RM Stator, Supersprox and Red Line Oil. The innovative brands and exclusive dealer incentives offered attendees valuable opportunities to connect with leading industry representatives.

Dealers also had chances to win product certificates, branded backpacks, commemorative T-shirts, and 2025–2026 Motorcycle Industry Council (MIC) memberships provided by Parts Unlimited and Drag Specialties. The highlight of the giveaways was an all-expense-paid trip for two people to the final MotoGP race in Valencia Spain.

Arctiva’s Pivot 8 jacket, bib and gloves are the latest iteration of the brand’s popular Pivot line of cold-weather powersports gear. The jacket and bib are also the warmest garments in the Arctiva lineup, making them great for even the coldest days or longest rides.

Snow Gear Packed with Features In the Details

Shortly before he founded LeMans Corporation, the late Fred Fox launched Fox Trac, a company dedicated to producing snowmobiles. That dedication to snowmobiling and wintertime powersports has always been a part of LeMans and Parts Unlimited, and today, it can especially be seen with house brand Arctiva.

The Arctiva brand has been around since 2000, and its focus is on performance cold-weather outerwear and layering garments for both snowmobile riders and powersports enthusiasts who want to stretch their riding season as long as possible.

The Midwest and Northeast are some of the best spots in the U.S. for getting out in the snow, and plenty of riders there will be counting on gear like the Pivot 8 jacket, bib and gloves to stay warm. These pieces are the latest iteration of Arctiva’s popular Pivot line of cold-weather powersports gear. The jacket and bib are also the warmest garments in the Arctiva lineup, making them great for even the coldest days or long rides.

“With any type of riding, you want the right gear to have fun and not have to worry about the terrain getting the best of us or slowing us down,” says Jay Savignac, Arctiva Brand Manager. “We don’t want the cold stopping our riders, and our gear is there to help keep riders doing what they love.”

Both the Pivot 8 jacket and bib have 200 grams of insulation for maximum warmth, and the smooth nylon taffeta hanging liner is quilted to keep that insulation exactly where it should be. The microporous coated fabric breathes enough for comfort, but it is combined with seam sealing and a water-repellent coating to ensure 100 percent waterproofing.

The Pivot 8 jacket is all about the details. The chassis features zippered vents at the underarm and back to provide the right amount of airflow, plus there is a convenient tether hook and a fleece-lined collar. The sleeves and back have 3M Scotchlite reflective detailing to increase visibility. No little detail was overlooked – there’s a built-in lens wipe in one pocket and a clip in the other to keep small

things like car keys secure. Plus, the fleece lining in the pockets keeps fingers cozy during a break in riding.

The Pivot 8 jacket has a relaxed fit for easy movement, and the adjustment points at the hip and neck allow the fit to be tailored to each rider. The neck adjuster covering is a barrier against the wind for even more comfort.

The Pivot 8 bib is designed to stay put without feeling binding. The stretch side panels make the bib flexible, and the length is adjustable to accommodate different rider heights. The waterproof 300D polyester chassis even has an extra layer on the seat to make absolutely sure things stay dry.

There are plenty of zipper features on the bib, including full-length side leg zippers. When opened fully, they make it easy to get the bib off and on, even while wearing boots. During riding, the leg zippers can be zipped down at the top for extra ventilation. There is also a zippered hip pocket for stowing small items.

Like the Pivot 8 jacket, the bib is also enhanced by 3M Scotchlite reflective detailing for improved visibility in low-light riding conditions.

The finishing touch for the jacket and bib ensemble is a pair of the Pivot 8 gloves. These gloves are fully insulated, waterproof, windproof and breathable. The 3M Thinsulate insulation includes 200 grams of insulation on the top of the hand and the thumb, with 100 grams in the palm and fingers. Hands stay warm, but without the bulk that would hinder movement.

The waterproofing comes from the breathable Hipora membrane that keeps water out. On the palm, the Clarino material is waterproof as well as durable and grippy, making it ideal for wet, snowy conditions.

The gauntlet style of the Pivot 8 gloves keeps snow from sneaking into the jacket, and the “Warmer” rating means these gloves are a good all-around option for winter powersports. Additional details include a goggle wipe on the left index finger, 3M Scotchlite reflective elements, and adjustable closures at the wrist and cuff.

The attention to detail seen in these pieces is typical for Arctiva, and new ideas are always in the works. “Development is nonstop with us,” says Dana McGinty, Z1R/Arctiva Product Specialist. “Our team works with Z1R and Arctiva. Ever since I started it’s been crazy to see how much detail we put into both brands, from fit tests to rep feedback being incorporated into the overall development. We want to hear feedback, and we use it to make quality products for our dealers to meet their customers’ needs.” ■

Oil Evolution

Specializing in Performance

Acentury ago, oil was oil. “Motor oil” was the right stuff for your engine, whether it was in a motorcycle, farm tractor or airplane. These days, oil has evolved to fit the specific needs of the various internal-combustion vehicles we ride, drive, and enjoy, with specialized lubes for different applications. Maxima’s Snow 4T and Tundra Full Syn and Tundra Syn Blend are great examples of that evolution.

Maxima Racing Oils has invested the R&D dollars to develop high-performance oils that excel in harsh winter environments. Snow 4T is a full-synthetic, ester-fortified 4-stroke engine oil formulated for the needs of snowmobiles and work/utility machines operating in cold climates. It has a 0W-40 grade that provides protection at startup and at full operating temperature.

The thin 0-weight pumps easily in sub-freezing temperatures, ensuring lubrication flows to bearings, cams and cylinder walls at startup. As Snow 4T heats up, Maxima’s premium viscosity index improvers give the oil the characteristics of a 40-weight lube, providing excellent film thickness and shear stability.

Using lab-made esters, Snow 4T is especially durable and has amazing lubricating properties, with the ability to adhere to metal parts for unprecedented protection. Maxima’s advanced, proprietary additive system helps increase power output while keeping engine internals clean, making Snow 4T ideal for all of your customers’ coldweather toys. Snow 4T exceeds the requirements of API SN PLUS and JASO MA2, so it’s suitable for a variety of vehicles. Are your customers more into performance 2-strokes? Since its founding in 1979, Maxima’s forte has been

The

4-stroke and 2-stroke

2-stroke oils, and Tundra Full Syn packs over four decades of experience into one bottle.

“Maxima offers a complete line of 2-stroke engine oils,” says Maxima’s Randy Commans. “Surface-active ester synthetics, pure base oils and clean-burn technology work in harmony to increase horsepower, reduce wear, and offer smooth, clean, trouble-free operation in high stress and cold operating conditions.”

Tundra Full Syn is an ester-based oil specifically formulated for snowmobiles operating in cold climate extremes. Use it as a premix in any OEM-recommended ratio or add it to the oil tank in a DFI engine. Maxima’s low-ash additive system helps prevents piston rings and power valves from sticking, ensuring those sleds keep running strong.

For a 2-stroke oil that balances performance and price, there’s Tundra Syn Blend. This formula is more budgetfriendly thanks to a mineral base that’s been fortified with key synthetic ingredients.

Some people still think “oil is oil,” but for those who want maximum performance and protection, Maxima offers a range of solutions for 4-stroke and 2-stroke machines. ■

Ready and Rugged High-Performance

Sealed Chains

For many parts of the United States, when winter arrives the motorcycles go into the garage awaiting warmer riding weather. However, snow bike conversion systems like Moto Trax allow riders to convert their two-wheeled motorcycle into a snowdrift carving machine.

Whether your customers ride a Trax conversion or a traditional motorcycle in the winter, RK’s GB520MXU narrow clearance sealed chain is ideal to power through these snowy conditions. Now riders can get great performance whether riding in the dirt, sand or snow. From professional elite teams to the weekend warriors, racers and snow riders all rely on RK’s unquestionable strength, reliability and quality.

RK 520MXU

Extreme elements call for extreme chains - When conditions turn muddy, snowy, sandy or wet, RK offers a sealed supercross, motocross and off-road racing chain called MXU ideal for these conditions. A sealed chain may be a little stiff while the seals are cold, but once the seals warm up the horsepower delivery will be more consistent with a sealed chain.

RK’s GB520MXU chains feature ultra-thin UW-seals that are perfect for bikes with narrow clearance and deliver triple the life expectancy when compared to a non-sealed chain.

RK’s UW-Ring seals use triple barrier grease protection, plus anti-debris technology. Anti-debris protection is vitally important to maximize chain wear life by eliminating debris friction between internal components.

When dirt and debris enter the inner components of the chain, the dirt and debris can act as sandpaper, slowly wearing away the pins of the chain. Once the pins start to wear, the chain will elongate, and the sprocket teeth will no longer sit perfectly on the sprocket which can reduce horsepower delivery.

RK’s UW seals also feature small contact points to reduce cold start drag. UW ring thickness is more than 50 percent thinner than O-rings. The GB520MXU has a maximum tensile strength of 8,000 foot pounds and weighs a mere 3.04 pounds per 100 links making MXU an ultra-light sealed off-road chain.

No matter what type of riding your customers enjoy, whether it’s carving through snowy landscapes, tearing around supercross tracks, pushing limits in motocross, or tackling rugged off-road terrain, RK Chain offers a product designed to meet their exact needs.

With a reputation built on strength, reliability and performance, RK Chains are engineered to handle the toughest conditions, while delivering smooth power transfer and long-lasting durability. From casual riders to professional racers, there’s an RK Chain tailored to provide the confidence and performance every rider demands. ■

WLow Temperatures, High Performance Oils for Snow Sports

ith winter on the horizon, it’s time for snowmobile and snowbike riders to start pulling their vehicles out of storage and brushing off the dust. Getting ready to ride when the perfect snow day arrives includes having a fresh batch of the proper oil in the motor. LIQUI MOLY provides snowmobile and snowbike oils, both designed to handle high-performance machines in low temperatures.

The Snowmobile SAE 0W-40 and Snowbike SAE 0W-40 oils are both fully synthetic, low-friction oils specifically designed for their respective corners of snow sports. The oils ensure optimum lubrication from the moment the engine starts, and they provide the right blend of excellent wear protection, high temperature stability and lubrication reliability. Engines stay clean for a season of reliable riding.

All these benefits are possible through the careful formulation of both the snowmobile and snowbike oils. High-quality synthetic base oils are blended with an advanced additive package that is specially formulated to create a low-viscosity motor oil with high shear stability. Engine deposits become a thing of the past, and engine wear is reduced.

Both versions of the oil are available in 1-liter and 4-liter sizes.

Developing oils for snow sports requires careful formulation. “For snowbikes and snowmobiles, it is important to use an oil that is still pumpable (i.e. still liquid) even at extremely low temperatures, but also offers a stable viscosity in hot operation,” said Steffen Niemietz, Application Engineer, LIQUI MOLY. “In addition, many snowbikes are technically motorcycles on runners and therefore need oils that meet the requirements of the engine, while also reliably lubricating and protecting the transmission and providing the necessary friction values for a wet clutch.”

Once the winter riding season ends and it’s time for snowmobiles and snowbikes to go back into storage, a fresh oil change is always recommended. Including the LIQUI MOLY Motorbike Engine Flush in the process is a way to get even more benefit out of a standard oil change.

Sludge and other deposits build up over time inside the oil circuit, and the Motorbike Engine Flush is an easy way to clean them out. Simply add the flush shortly before the oil change. As the Motorbike Engine Flush travels through the oil circuit, it loosens up sludge and impurities, so when the oil is drained, all those contaminants go right out with it. Then, once the new oil is added, the engine is as clean as possible before going into storage until next winter. ■

Getting ATVs Ready for Winter Work Plowing Ahead

While there are some types of offroad vehicles that get put away for the winter months, others stay busy even as the weather turns snowy and icy. When there’s plowing to be done, the Moose Offroad Smart Fit ATV Plow System is a way to mount a blade to virtually any ATV.

The plow system really is almost universal when it comes to the ATVs with which it can be paired. The push tube and mount system are designed for this kind of versatility, making it just one part number dealers need to stock for nearly all their ATV customers. And, for those riders with multiple ATVs, the plow system can be moved from one to the other when needed.

The Smart Fit ATV Plow System is made from high-quality steel topped with a black matte powder coat. The result is a plow system that is able to withstand harsh conditions, whether that’s severe winter weather or the terrain that’s being plowed.

This blend of strength, versatility and value makes the plow system a smart choice for ATV riders who need to clear snow and ice throughout the winter months. Each Smart Fit ATV Plow System comes with the mount, push tube and all of the hardware required for installation.

“The quality of our plows is top notch,” says Moose Offroad General Manager Jared Krueger. “In addition to the wide variety of ATVs the plow system will accommodate, it is also compatible with all of Moose Offroad’s straight and county blades. When choosing a plow blade, someone should factor the size of the machine it is being installed on, and the terrain being plowed.”

ATV riders certainly have a lot of choices when it comes to choosing the right blade for the job at hand. Moose Offroad’s straight and county blades have been redesigned to ensure effective plowing. The wing design and blade curve efficiently guide the snow to clear everything from driveways to fields.

A matte powder coated finish adds to the blade’s durability, making it as tough as the plow system it’s mounted to.

Riders can choose from five blade sizes for the straight blades, ranging from 50 inches to the 72-inch plow for larger areas that need to be cleared. The county blade style is available in 50-inch and 60-inch sizes.

Having It All An Offroad Helmet Packed

Riders don’t like to compromise. When it comes to their bikes, their gear and even where they ride, they want the best experience possible. It used to be that there could be a lot of compromise required when choosing the right gear. A jacket might be great in the safety department, but comfort would take a hit. A helmet might have all the latest technology packed into it, but it would have a high price tag to go along with all those features.

Moose Offroad is happy to prove that you can have it all in one piece of gear. The new MR3 off-road helmet has the right blend of durability, light weight, style and comfort, and it all comes at a reasonable retail price. To make things even better, the new XCR goggle checks all the same boxes, making it an ideal pairing with the helmet.

The team at Moose Offroad designed the MR3 helmet to be a high-performance option that would stay comfortable even during long stretches on the bike. That comfort begins with the ABS shell – this material saves weight while still providing a durable guard against the outside world. In addition to the lighter weight, the shell of the MR3 is also designed to provide a fit that allows easy movement. And, up front, the peak is adjustable so a rider can tilt it to suit their preferences.

with Perks

Underneath the shell, the multi-density EPS liner provides the ideal amount of defense against impacts in just the right spots. The inner lining and cheek pads are constructed from breathable fabrics designed to wick moisture away from the rider’s head and face, keeping things cool even on hot days or in the middle of a race. And, to make sure things stay nice and fresh, the lining and cheek pads are fully removable and washable.

Airflow is always a big part of a helmet package, and the MR3 is no exception. There are multiple vents in the chin guard and front of the helmet, keeping the airflow moving inside the helmet before the air exits through the rear vents.

Attendees at NVP Milwaukee were able to check out the MR3 helmet at the Moose Offroad booth. There are four different color combinations available, and the sizing ranges from XS to XXL.

Designing a helmet that combines highperformance and comfort features – and keeps the retail price reasonable, no less – isn’t an easy task, but Moose Offroad has decades of experience creating gear that riders can count on to give them the durability, style and comfort they want.

In addition to being riders themselves, the team at Moose Offroad also counts on their team of professional off-road competitors to test products during their early stages of development. Adjustments are made based on the riders’ feedback, and by the time a piece of Moose Offroad gear hits the shelves at Parts Unlimited, dealers can be assured that the product has already been put through its paces on the track.

“Moose was launched, with the help of Dick Burleson, on the idea that riding gear should be comfortable and durable enough to ride in all day rather than a 20-minute moto,” says Moose Offroad Product Specialist Austin Weaver. “We have been following this lead and working with top off-road racers since 1994 to bring you highquality gear at an outstanding price.”

The XCR goggle is the perfect complement to the MR3 helmet. And, like the helmet, this goggle offers a host of high-quality materials and features at a very attractive price point.

Moose Offroad’s new MR3 off-road helmet offers the right blend of durability, light weight, style and comfort, all at a reasonable retail price. The new XCR goggle makes an ideal pairing with the helmet.

The polyurethane frame is paired with a multi-density foam that’s backed with fleece. Dust stays out thanks to the firm seal this combination creates against a rider’s face, but it also offers soft, lightweight comfort. And, as a bonus, the fleece is a barrier that keeps sweat from dripping into a rider’s eyes.

Having a clear view of the track or trail ahead is aided by the ventilation system built into the frame. In addition to providing a cooling effect by keeping air flowing, it also helps prevent fogging. The goggle arrives with a tinted Lexan lens ideal for sunny days, but the package also includes a clear lens that can easily be swapped out.

The integrated nose guard adds an extra line of defense and is especially useful in environments with gravel or other small objects that might get kicked up. But, for more sedate riding conditions, the nose guard can be removed.

The XCR goggle stays in place on the MR3 helmet – or any helmet – with the silicon strips on the strap, which keep things precisely in place. ■

ISDE Team USA Women Strike Gold … Again

TEAM RIDERS REFLECT ON THEIR WORLD STAGE VICTORY

99TH INTERNATIONAL SIX DAYS ENDURO: AUGUST 24-29

Several months before heading to Bergamo, Italy, for the 99th International Six Day Enduro, another certain victory by Team USA Women looked anything but. Team captain and Moose Offroad rider Brandy Richards had suffered a broken femur in March and was on the mend, while team veteran and fellow Moose Offroad rider Rachel Gutish nearly found herself without a ride in the early 2025 season. Third team member Korie Steede was returning to action after having sat out the latter part of last season following a car accident that sidelined her only days before the team was scheduled to depart for the 2024 ISDE.

Having won the previous two ISDE Women’s World Trophy (WWT) championships, Team USA women were certainly expected to be in the hunt, but after injuries and setbacks nothing was guaranteed.

But as the U.S. contingent headed to Bergamo the pieces fell into place and the doubt quickly lifted as Richards,

Gutish and Steede went 1-2-3 in the Women’s World Trophy category on day one. The trio never looked back as they simply dominated all six days, eventually rising to a whopping 37-minute lead by the end of the week, claiming USA’s third-consecutive Women’s World Trophy victory.

BRANDY’S STORY

“Italy is a very beautiful place. That was one of the most beautiful Six Days I’ve ever been to. It was quite the experience,” said Moose Offroad athlete Brandy Richards. The journey just to get there might have been the toughest part of the task for the defending overall champion.

“I broke my femur at the end of March, the day before April Fool’s Day,” said Richards. “I knew it would be a stretch just to make it to Six Days, and to be able to be at the speed to compete for the championship. It was definitely one of the hardest things I ever had to do in my life. I never really

took a day off, jumped right into therapy and worked hard pretty much every single day and pushed myself. Three weeks before I left [for Bergamo], I was questioning myself and my speed, but about two weeks before I left, I felt like I got comfortable and got my speed back. I think a lot of it is trust in yourself and that takes time.”

The U.S. WWT team captain also came into Bergamo with the individual number-one plate. In Italy in 2021 Richards made Six Days history by becoming the first-ever rider (male or female) to win every test throughout all six days. In 2024, even though she didn’t sweep every test, she topped every day of competition. Richards admitted the return to Italy (the site of her 2021 feat) was both pressure and encouragement.

“It was encouragement because I have such a good relationship with the country. It’s good vibes every time I go. But definitely a lot of expectations because I got asked a lot if I was going to be able to win every test. I got that question quite a bit, but I also knew coming in from not racing for four months that would be quite the stretch. I was happy just to have that expectation because that wasn’t easy the first time and to do it again would be pretty incredible. It’s definitely on my mind and I want to do it. But I think after losing a test and kind of struggling the first day, it was almost a relief.”

By the daily results, it appears as though the U.S. women cruised to an easy victory, their lead growing from seven

Heading into the 99th ISDE in Bergamo, Italy, Moose Offroad rider Brandy Richards’ prospects looked rough after a broken femur in March sidelined her. Any doubts quickly evaporated for the defending overall champion as she and the U.S. Women’s team quickly established a lead.

minutes on day one, doubling on day two, and growing to 37 minutes in the end. But there were plenty of mental, emotional and physical challenges the whole way. “I would say that’s definitely normal for Six Days,” said Richards. “We all had a lot of ups and downs, which we have every year. We were making little mistakes, but our expectations just grow each year.”

When it comes to defending a title (or multiple titles), any champion can tell you about the shift in expectations. You go from hoping for a win to expecting it. In the journey from being a team on the rise to being the team on top, Richards has felt the full gamut. “Back when I started in 2017, it was a far reach to beat Australia and to compete with them,” said Richards. “Like with me, Becca [Sheets] and Tarah [Geiger], it was a pretty big challenge to beat Australia because they had some really strong women and a lot of experience. Between the three of us, it was definitely a big goal of ours and the first WWT that we won, it was a pretty big weight off our shoulders. But now it’s an expectation. If we don’t win, it’s a big letdown.”

Another palpable shift for Richards was going from the rookie to the team leader, a point she reflected on. “The biggest change for me is going from being the youngest one on the team and kinda just following the other girls to now I’m kind of the leader and the team captain. I’m making more of the decisions and holding the women together a little bit more, which is definitely a different role I’ve grown into.”

RACHEL’S STORY

ISDE is a team event, and Rachel Gutish will be the first to remind you of that. However, the 2025 event came with another set of individual milestones for the Moose Offroad rider. It marked an incredible 10th ISDE for the veteran. And, even after a decade of experience, brought with it some ‘first-evers’, such as the first time she led the individual standings, and the first time she won individual tests.

“The tenth ISDE is obviously a huge milestone. Not many riders ever do 10 ISDEs over the course of their career. Six Days has always been the most important thing to me, the thing I love most,” Gutish said. “If I had to pick only one thing in the entire season to do, that would be what I would choose.

“I’d never led the standings before. I’d won a couple tests but not enough of them to actually be leading the standings, you know? It was very exciting, but it’s also not an individual event. I had to kind of limit how excited I could be because I don’t want to override trying to hang onto that and then have a problem and cost the team the championship. Even though I was super excited as an individual, I was still focusing more on our team score. That’s the thing with Six Days – you have to ride differently when you have a 27-minute lead versus a 27-second lead.”

Managing a huge lead while also jockeying for overall standings takes a veteran’s maturity, something Gutish was able to provide the team, particularly young gun Korie Steede. “She’s still kind of on the young side and gets enthusiastic and carried away sometimes,” said Rachel with a laugh. “She was like, ‘Yeah! I hit that jump and Johnny Girroir said he didn’t even hit that jump!’ Have you ever thought about why he didn’t hit that jump?” [laughs]

Each rider of the U.S. WWT team brings a key ingredient to what has become a winning combination. “I think our skillsets complement each other nicely,” said Gutish. “Brandy is obviously the most successful Six Days rider we’ve ever had on the team, and Korie and Brandy both come from motocross backgrounds so they’re super-fast in the open stuff. Me, coming from more a hard enduro background, if we ever get a day that’s really rainy or terrible, that’s where I counterbalance them.”

It was, in fact, the rainy day two where Rachel found herself at the top of the standings. She went on to finish out the week fourth overall, her teammates taking the top two steps of the podium.

Like Richards, Gutish had some challenges to overcome earlier in the season, namely an unexpected change in bike sponsorship, going from Sherco USA to factory Rieju. Her

Moose Offroad’s Rachel Gutish marked her 10th ISDE in 2025, and accomplished a few “first-evers” including leading the individual standings and winning individual tests.

early season saw her switching bikes multiple times, and incredibly it didn’t seem to slow her down. “When you jump back and forth between bikes, you have to spend time testing and setting things up, so as far as my off-season goes, it was probably the worst I’ve ever had in terms of actually getting training accomplished. I came into this season feeling like I wasn’t quite in race shape yet like I wasn’t totally one with the bike. But you just figure it out, right? [laughs] You don’t have a choice!”

KORIE’S STORY

Brandy Richards’ stiffest competition came from within the team this year. Korie Steede took away her share of test wins and overall day wins, but ultimately kept the team victory in mind. She finished second overall in the individual standings, but served notice that a new champion might be coming soon.

“It was a really hectic week,” said Korie. “Obviously we all ripped it all week. We each definitely had our days that we made some mistakes, but as a team we absolutely crushed it.

“It was really good for me, individually. The first day I was leading most of the day and then ended up losing in on the last test because I was stuck in a mud hole, so I was bummed about that. But overall, this is the best I’ve ridden at a Six Days.”

Finding the balance between her send-it moto-style and veteran’s maturity was part of the challenge for Steede, as she explains. “As a racer, you’re still there to race, so yes, it’s easy to look at the lead and say oh we’re winning so we can back it down and just ride now, but we are there to win and that’s the bottom line. Yes, there were times I backed down in a couple tests when I could have sent it, but most of the time I was going pretty hard and trying to win tests and win the day. I think that goes for Brandy too, honestly. But we don’t want an Aussie to beat us for the day. [laughs] We just tried our best to stay safe and bring it home and it worked out.”

When it comes to safeguarding a massive lead, it can be overwhelming trying to look at the overall scope of the race with every decision you make. Taking it one day at a time, and one test at a time, is the key, according to Steede.

“That’s really how you have to approach Six Days. The more you think about it the harder it gets and the worse you’ll do. I just tried to wake up every day and just think about going out there to ride my dirt bike with my friends. Then you get to the test and try to lock in, but throughout the whole day you have to try your best to keep yourself sane and having fun.” ■

MOOSE OFFROAD’S LACHLAN TURNER DOMINATES REVAMPED WMX SERIES

No matter how dominant a rider is, winning a championship is never easy. Lachlan Turner, or “LaLa,” as she is known, succeeded in defending her No. 1 plate in the Women’s Motocross (WMX) Championship, winning nine out of 12 motos and never finishing off the podium en route to five overall wins of the six-round championship. With the support of the Altus Motorsports bLU cRU Yamaha Amateur Team, and a new full-time training program at ClubMX, Turner was able to put together a spectacular performance in the 2025 series.

“I’ve been working my butt off, and if you put your heart into it and your mind into it and work hard for it, it comes,” said the Moose Offroad athlete. As hard as she pushed herself in 2025, Turner calls last year even more difficult, and for a rather surprising reason.

“I definitely feel like last year was more of a fight. Because I never really trained and I had a lot of injuries,” she admitted.

“I definitely think last year was harder.”

The 18-year-old hasn’t always had the ability to get to the track during the week, but after moving to ClubMX, a full-service motocross facility in South Carolina, the reigning national champion was finally able to train full time.

“I’ve never trained before, so I started training one month before the WMX series and it’s helped a lot,” said LaLa. “Last year was a bit of a hiccup with all my crashes, but a lot of bike time helped me with that. My technique was already there. I just needed more bike time. It definitely made me faster, because I used to just ride on the weekends when I could. And yeah, just riding with people that are faster and pushing me made me become faster. I put in the work and it definitely paid off.”

As for the series itself, 2025 was a breakthrough year for the WMX Championship. Women’s Motocross rejoined the AMA Pro Motocross Championship, even racing on Saturdays and enjoying some live television coverage. The bigger stage only fueled the fire for the Moose Offroad-backed rider.

“It was really good,” LaLa said. “This year they were talking about not even having our motos on Saturday, but we had a weather issue at Thunder Valley (round 3) and I mean, God works in mysterious ways because we got our races on Saturday after that.

“It’s definitely made me want it more because on Saturday, it’s live with ev-

eryone watching so I don’t want to do bad. It’s like, I need to do it because now people are actually watching.” Turner said with a laugh.

Her stiffest competition came from four-time Australian MXW Champion Charli Cannon, who found her stride late in the season after healing up from a finger injury, which required surgery only days before the opening round. Turner talked about racing against the Aussie, recalling their first encounter of the year at the FIM Oceania Women’s Cup back in March, where Cannon dominated on her home turf in Australia.

“The first time I competed with her I had a dislocated shoulder the week before, so it wasn’t my full potential when I raced her in Australia,” said LaLa. “I honestly thought she was going to come here and smoke me because I didn’t know where I was with my dislocated shoulder when I raced over there. It definitely surprised me when I came out swinging.

“Toward the end of the season, it was cool being up there battling with her, and coming out on top.”

Fewer crashes in 2025 didn’t mean no crashes. Turner experienced a hard get-off at the final round at Budds Creek, aggravating a previous back injury and threatening her points lead. After a rare second-place finish in the moto, Turner lined up for the second of three motos sore, but ready to clinch the title.

“My dad, on the line, actually told me, ‘Show ‘em who the champion is.’ So that really got to me. I just had to go out there and really show them what I’m capable of, even when I was hurt.”

With the 2025 WMX title now to her name, Turner now sets her sights on the future –SMX Futures, that is. “My plan for this year is get into

Supercross, start training that, then next year we’ll do the combines (SMX Futures rounds) and I’ll probably race all four of the Australian rounds of WMX.”

Turner’s goals are only growing in scale from here, and the Moose Offroad rider stands a good chance of achieving them. “Dynamite comes in small packages,” says Moose Offroad Rider Support Carl van Niekerk. “LaLa is the first WMX Champion in the history of the Moose brand and she joins an elite group of women’s champions in the Moose Offroad family. If it can be done, she’s the one to do it.” ■

With two WMX Pro Motocross Championship titles in the books, LaLa Turner is setting her sights on Supercross for the coming year.

Packed and Prepped Specialty Bags for On and Off the Bike

Preparation and organization are keys to success and that’s no different in the busy moto lifestyle.

That’s why THOR wants to keep your customers equipped every day with its complete collection of bags and packs.

Storage that’s designed to work and travel with you can make a night and day difference and each of THOR’s bags are designed with specific purpose in mind. This updated collection covers daily rides with backpacks, moto days with gear bags, travel days with luggage, and adventure days with tool and hydration packs.

“For 2026, we’ve infused some fresh bag and pack graphics that merchandise perfectly with our racewear and casual apparel looks for the coming seasons,” explained Josh Shorter, Global Brand Director at THOR. “We pride ourselves on a versatile collection that offers something for everyone.”

Your customers might have young riders in the house who are packing up for school while they’re preparing for another day at work. Either way, THOR’s backpack collection has everyone covered with its Varsity and

Slam backpacks. Each pack is designed and finished with details to make tackling the day easier, including padded laptop sleeves, specialty pockets and durable materials.

Varsity backpacks are great for everything from grade school to college and are available in two new designs. Slam backpacks are prepped for more treacherous travel with water resistant zippers and materials. Regardless, customers can pack up and head out prepared with all their equipment organized and ready to go.

When the days string together for a work trip or a long weekend traveling to the races, THOR’s Jetway luggage bags are multi-purpose and are designed and constructed to stand up to the rigors of airlines.

Jetway isn’t your typical carry-on. These bags have an integrated, padded laptop pocket and two external pockets that are TSA-friendly. Durability is key when airport crews are throwing bags around, which is why Jetway bags have an internal plastic base, a plastic skid bar and a reinforced telescoping handle. Finishing details for Jetway bags include butter-smooth wheels, water resistant material and two different colors and designs.

For longer trips when a carry-on size won’t cut it or for hauling gear to the track, THOR’s Transit Wheelie bag is ready to roll. This 3-foot-plus roller bag has a fully molded base designed for durability and oversized wheels for optimized mobility. Inside, customers will find a large, ventilated main compartment that can carry the bulk of their gear.

Transit Wheelie bags’ specialty compartments are what really make them stand out. Customers will have a reinforced boot compartment that holds full-sized motocross boots and is easily cleanable, plus a fleece-lined helmet and goggle pocket to keep them protected. Add in final details like a roll-out changing mat and your customers have a versatile gear bag they’ll want to take on any riding trip.

If your customers don’t want the biggest gear available, THOR’s Circuit bag is a great option to carry plenty of gear in a slightly more compact package. They’ll enjoy a lot of the same features including helmet and boot compartments, a roll-out changing mat and more, that can be toted around with reinforced handles and a padded shoulder strap.

All-in-one gear bag solutions are convenient for many customers, but sometimes riders are looking for purposedesigned bags for their gear collection. THOR offers helmet bags and goggle bags designed for protection and convenience when hauling extra gear. Each THOR

goggle bag holds four goggles between adjustable foam padded inserts plus extra pockets to hold additional lenses, tear-offs, film rolls and more.

A full-fledged riding bag collection wouldn’t be complete without a hydration pack and tool pack. THOR’s collection offers three different sizes of hydration packs; the Reservoir pack, the Hydrant pack and the Vapor pack. These packs range from maximum water capacity and pocket space with the Reservoir and Hydrant to compact and sleek hydration with the Vapor pack.

Last on the list but equally important for long days on the trails is THOR’s Vault tool pack. Specialized pockets are designed to hold a race radio, small tools and parts and a built-in tool roll with elastic tool slots. All this utility stays comfortable for riders, too, thanks to a padded waist belt that evenly distributes weight.

As Shorter summed it up, “If you are looking for trackready bags featuring compartments with specific gear designations, multi-function hydration and tool packs for the adventurous set, carry-on compliant travel bags, or essential backpacks for everyday needs, THOR has you covered!” ■

86K Miles and Counting Tires

that Keep a Katana Rolling

Darrell Brown has been riding his 1992 Suzuki Katana 1100 for 33 years. These days, Brown enjoys showing younger riders on newer sportbikes that the Katana still has a few moves, and he trusts his Avon RoadRider MKII tires to help him do it.

Brown likes the Katana because it has the same powerplant as the GSX-R but offers a better setup for Sport-Touring.

“It’s the same engine, but the Katana has a more relaxed riding position,” he says. “It’s a very comfortable bike, but it will also put other sportbikes to shame in the corners.”

When it comes to his riding style, Brown says he’s aggressive, but not reckless. Having a bike that he knows so well helps him stay within the limits, and his Avon RoadRider tires strike the right balance for him. “I’ve had it so long I know exactly what I can get away with and what I can’t, and part of it’s the tires,” Brown notes. “The reason I like these Avons is it’s a really good blend between tire longevity and performance and road-gripping ability.”

Avon’s RoadRider MKII tires are a best-of-both-worlds choice for riders like Brown, who want both performance and longevity, as well as modern features paired with an aesthetic that looks at home on an older bike. The RoadRiders are capable in both wet and dry conditions, too.

Over the past 33 years, Brown has ridden 86,208 miles on his Katana, and he has no plans to stop anytime soon. He also has no intention of replacing the Katana. Brown still remembers his conversation with the salesman back in 1992. “I told him if I buy this, it’s probably the last bike I’m ever going to need, and that so far has been true,” Brown says. Brown takes meticulous care of his Katana, which can lead to some interesting interactions with other riders. He says,

“I had it out a couple of years ago, and I had pulled over at a scenic overlook. Some kids pulled over and they saw the bike, and one of them said, ‘Wow, when did they start making the Katana again?’ My bike is absolutely perfect. It’s never fallen off the side stand, never been crashed, and I clean it after every time I ride.”

Typically, Brown enjoys Sport-Touring rides, especially in the wide-open spaces near his hometown of Gaylord, Michigan. One of his favorite rides is called the Tunnel of Trees, but, Brown says, there’s one problem with that spot. “I usually get stuck behind a group of Harleys,” he explains, “and they’re going too slow!”

Brown knows he can expect up to 18,000 miles on a front RoadRider tire, so he can continue racking up the miles with confidence on his Katana. ■

FOR TRUE ORIGINALS

ROADRIDER MKII

Avon Roadrider MkII tyres are designed to give you that perfect classic bike look, whenever your bike was built. An all-new construction with improved sidewall design means the timeless styling you demand is matched by the handling and stability you need – whatever the weather and whatever the road conditions. So you can ride with freedom, every time you go out – and look good doing it.

A Casual Jacket Gets CE-Certified

Looking casual while being properly fortified against the hazards of motorcycle riding can be a tough balance to achieve. Often, proper gear screams “I ride motorcycles!” That might be fine while on the bike, but it can make heads turn – and not in a good way – when sporting that gear off the bike.

The team at ICON has made an artform out of designing motorcycle gear that doesn’t look like motorcycle gear. ICON managed to strike the right balance between casual and anti-asphalt coverage with the Fallblock Flannel Jacket, which is returning due to rider demand, just in time for the colder months.

Riders kept asking for ICON to re-issue the Fallblock Flannel jacket, and ICON answered in a big way. Not only is the rider-favorite making a comeback, but it’s doing so with a significant upgrade.

“That demand is exactly why we pushed further, taking the jacket through CE testing,” notes ICON Senior Designer John Whitaker. “Now it’s fully certified to EN 17092-4:2020 Class A, giving riders the same flannel they know and trust, backed by European-level safety standards.”

ICON’s Fallblock Flannel jacket blends casual style with hidden technical protection. Outside, the jacket carries the hallmarks of your typical flannel. Inside the jacket, the D3O Ghost armor in the shoulders and elbows are paired with a D3O Viper protector in the back.

The Fallblock Flannel jacket blends casual style, which looks right at home on or off a bike, with hidden technical protection. Outside, the jacket carries the hallmarks of your typical flannel, ready for chilly fall evenings with a cotton-nylon flannel chassis. The 85-gram insulated body means this jacket is suitable for riding into the cooler months, but when things get a little steamy, the large pit vents open up to allow plenty of airflow. At the same time, there are 300D polyester reinforcements at the elbows and shoulders to guard against abrasion. Inside the jacket, the D3O Ghost armor in the shoulders and elbows are paired with a D3O Viper protector in the back. And, because D3O armor is incredibly low-profile, this added reinforcement is virtually invisible. The patch pockets on the chest, snap closures at the wrist and YKK zippers complete the look.

“For us, premium has never meant ‘flashy,’” says Whitaker. “It means functional, dependable and built to live in rotation. The CE certification simply reinforces what our customers already knew: The Fallblock is more than casual style, it’s a serious riding jacket, tested and proven to perform.”

ICON offers the Fallblock Flannel jacket in both Red and Black Plaid, and sizing runs up to 3XL. ■

Face Time Talking Tires at

NVP Milwaukee

These days, we all do a lot of our business while sitting in front of a screen. That makes events like the 2025 NVP Product Expo in Milwaukee more important than ever, giving vendors, reps and dealers the chance to come together for something more personal. For Pirelli, this year’s NVP was a chance to show off the sportier side of cruiser tires and deliver some valuable knowledge to dealers and Parts/Drag reps alike.

There was a lot of energy and excitement in Milwaukee, and the Pirelli team had a busy weekend welcoming visitors to the booth. In addition to all the positive conversations about Pirelli’s lineup of tires, many dealers took advantage of the exclusive NVP show special that Pirelli was offering during the event.

“The energy at NVP Milwaukee was fantastic, and it was great to spend time connecting with dealers and reps from throughout the country,” said Brian Davenport, Pirelli Tires. “We had a lot of positive conversations at the booth, plenty of excitement around the new DIABLO Powercruiser tire, and even got to celebrate Tucker Speed’s big win in the BRL Build-Off. It was the kind of weekend that reminds you why this industry is so much fun to be a part of.”

That win for Tucker Speed was more than the chance to admire a beautiful performance Bagger: It was also something for the Pirelli team to celebrate. The #777 Harley-Davidson Road Glide was equipped with a set of Pirelli DIABLO Rosso IV Corsa tires.

While the DIABLO line of performance tires has traditionally been centered on sportbikes, the rise of Bagger racing has proven that the DIABLO name is right at home on a V-Twin, too.

The DIABLO Rosso IV Corsa tire is a more aggressive version of Pirelli’s DIABLO Rosso IV, and it is derived from its racing tire counterparts. The tire boasts outstanding grip, handling and performance consistency. The shoulders are especially slick for outstanding cornering: a must on the track during a Bagger Racing League event or for bold street riders who want full trust in their tires.

In addition to the bike that won the BRL Biker Build-Off, Tucker Speed also had a race bike on display inside the Pirelli booth for visitors to admire up close. The #477 BRL race bike sparked plenty of conversations, from its performance mods to its Pirelli DIABLO Rosso IV Corsa tires.

In addition to hosting dealers and reps at the Pirelli booth, Davenport also delivered technical presentations and training sessions for Parts/Drag reps throughout

Comfort at Hand Grips Designed to Reduce Vibration

Handlebar grips are the first point of contact when getting onto and interfacing with a motorcycle and serve as an important connection between rider and machine. They’re also one of the main sources of feedback from the riding surface and, when things get rough for the motorcycle, you know they’re getting rough for the rider too.

Knowing that vibration and trail chatter can mean the difference between a smooth ride, and one where your customers have to shake feeling back into their hands, ODI has introduced its new Lock-On NOMAD Off-Road Grip, exclusively made from D3O GRIP material.

Long used as impact protection in the motorcycle world in high-end riding apparel, D3O is known for its amazing protective qualities and ability to absorb impacts and dissipate energy. It does so with minimal material used; that’s why the D3O GRIP material is a natural choice for ODI when developing the NOMAD grips specific to off-road environments.

Meticulously engineered padding is coupled with a medium-diameter grip design with built-in finger traction points, allowing your customers to hold on with less effort and really benefit from the qualities of the D3O GRIP material. Thanks to the D3O, less shock and vibration are transmitted from the road to the bike to the rider, keeping your customers more comfortable for longer stretches in the saddle.

The NOMAD’s D3O GRIP material offers two-times more vibration damping than standard grip materials, with evenly spaced mini-pads providing effective shock absorption and cushion. The three-bar finger traction points deliver effective finesse and control at speed, while reinforced end-caps offer robust durability against rocks, trees and other obstacles if or when the bike goes down.

Trakmaster DTR Dual-Sport & Adventure Tires

new set of tires on your customers’ Adventure bikes can make a world of difference, especially on many of today’s larger-displacement, dualpurpose motorcycles. Whether riding on dirt or the street, new tires pay huge dividends by bringing more controlled acceleration, less rear wheel spin, better cornering confidence and improved stopping power with shorter braking distances.

One set of ADV tires riders should consider is Kenda’s new Trakmaster DTR (Dual Terrain Radial). This matched front and rear tire set is targeted at the variety of terrain

types and road surfaces commonly encountered during adventure rides. With its versatile 70 percent street and 30 percent off-road-focused tread pattern, the Trakmaster DTR is optimized for versatile adventure.

Designed and crafted at Kenda’s Tech Center in Canton, Ohio, the Trakmaster DTR features a proprietary compound with an optimized tread design to deliver enhanced grip in both on-road and off-road conditions, with increased water dispersion for wet and sloppy conditions. The 70 percent street, 30 percent off-road tread pattern is ideal for those who primarily ride on tarmac, gravel roads and some two-track trails. Radial construction ensures stability and controlled comfort on pavement, at higher speeds and for long distances.

A notable feature of the Trakmaster DTR rear tire is its “stairway to adventure” tread pattern, an innovative stairstep tread pattern design that incorporates added bite edges on each lug that, over time, introduces fresh bite edges as the tire continues to wear. The feature allows users to truly maximize tire life with a minimal loss in performance, delivering more miles per dollar spent. The Trakmaster DTR is a win-win for riders seeking maximum mileage and performance from their tires.

Kenda’s Trakmaster DTR is now available to dealers from Parts Unlimited. Fitments include front and rear sizes for

popular dual sport and ADV models like the Honda Africa Twin, KTM 890 Adventure, Triumph Tiger 900, Yamaha Tenere 700 and Suzuki V-Strom 800. Comfortable Ride Waterproof Gear for Cold, Wet Days

Most riders want to stretch their riding season as long as possible, or even ride year-round, which means some days will be cold, and others will be wet. Even worse, some days will be both. With the Alpinestars Andes V4 Drystar jacket and pants, as well as the Corozal V2 Drystar boots, riders can endure those weather scenarios in comfort.

Both the Andes V4 Drystar jacket and pants are 100 percent waterproof thanks to the Drystar membrane, which is breathable for continued comfort. These pieces are good sellers for Alpinestars, because they provide the right blend of comfort and warmth plus protection against both the asphalt and the elements.

“Being cold on the road is one thing, being wet is another, but being cold and wet can quickly become uncomfortable and potentially dangerous,” says Brent Jaswinski, Alpinestars Sales Communications Manager. “The Andes V4 Drystar jacket and pants, featuring 100 percent waterproof and breathable membranes along with removable thermal liners, ensure you stay warm and dry no matter the conditions. All this comes at an exceptionally accessible price, making reliable protection both practical and affordable.”

The jacket’s chassis features stretch panels that improve comfort and mobility. Long air vents ensure airflow, so things don’t get too warm inside the jacket, while a removable thermal liner offers additional options for adjusting the jacket to the temperature.

At the same time, the Andes V4 Drystar jacket is designed to provide a solid barrier against hazards. Ripstop fabric and PU overlays on the shoulders, elbows and forearms stand guard against abrasion, while CE Level 1 Nucleon Flex Plus armor at the shoulders and elbows adds to the jacket’s durability.

The jacket is compatible with the Tech-Air 5 Plasma airbag system from Alpinestars.

The Andes V4 Drystar pants also feature ripstop panels in high-abrasion areas. The removable thermal liner and thigh vents with waterproof zippers make it easy to get

The Alpinestars Andes V4 Drystar jacket and pant delivers all-weather protection and comfort, featuring waterproof and breathable membranes, flexible stretch panels, and advanced armor for safety on every ride.

The Alpinestars Corozal V2 Drystar boots offer waterproof comfort and solid protection. With a breathable liner, lighter design, and tough reinforcements, these boots really excel, in rain or shine.

the right setup for the temperature and weather conditions. The knees get an extra layer of reinforcement with the CE Level 1 Nucleon Flex Plus armor, which has an adjustable three-position fit.

The Alpinestars Corozal V2 Drystar boots complete the waterproof ensemble. Like the jacket and pants, the boots include a waterproof, breathable Drystar membrane. The new design for the Corozal boots has resulted in a lower profile and less weight, and they are slim enough in the shin to fit under or over Adventure pants.

The lateral pivot system, derived from the Tech 7 boots, allows for improved movement while providing bolstered ankle support. TPU reinforcements and a reinforced toe/ heel area add to the Corozal’s ability to take on the rigors of riding. The boots secure with buckles and a microratchet system. ■

REnduring Performance

HPE “Green” aintenance-Free

egina Chain is committed to quality and innova tion backed by hundreds of motorcycle world championships. One such example is the brand’s HPE (High Performance Endurance) line – the first maintenance-free chain that requires no regular lubrication.

By using Diamond Like Carbon coatings on bushings and rollers, HPE chains deliver maximized wear resistance and less friction, eliminating the need for lubrication before each ride. No more pre-ride applications and chain lube fling coating the motorcycle, with the longevity of a standard chain lubricated every 300 miles. These drive chains are available in 520 and 525 widths, with a variety of lengths.

As a longtime supporter of motorcycle racing, Regina uses real-world testing to help define, develop and bring to market new product features and technologies. With over 380 total championships to date since the company

“We collected over 650,000 miles of data on a variety of bikes to validate our HPE technology before we brought it to market,” explains Federico Gualdi, Motorcycle Division Sales Director for Regina Chain. “As the official chain used by teams in the FIM MotoE World Championship, with no maintenance required, it matches the green objectives of the series. It’s a product we’re extremely proud to have

Speed, Convenience & Control

A T-Handle with a Twist

How many bodywork and engine case covers bolts get removed and installed for each maintenance procedure your customers or techs do? Now imagine all those fasteners getting handled with more speed, convenience and control. That’s what Motion Pro’s Spinner T-handles allow your clients and employees to do.

The Spinner T-handle is a premium T-handle with a twist. A low-friction bushing inside the knurled-aluminum shaft handle allows the heavy duty chrome-vanadium shank to spin freely, so you can use the tool’s momentum to rapidly remove or install fasteners. The padded grip handle offers ample leverage for cracking bolts free as well as spinning nuts on to the perfect tightness.

The Spinner T-handle is easy to spot in the toolboxes of hobbyists, professional mechanics, and even pro race teams. Sean Gager, mechanic for Altus Motorsports Team, praises the Spinner for its ability to save time. “At the races saving time is crucial, especially during, say, qualifying when you’re trying to do a clutch change,” Gager says.

“These speed wrenches are great to have, and they make our lives way easier.”

The Spinner T-handle is available as a bit driver, in a ¼-inch drive and in a 3/8-inch drive, making it even more versatile. Spinning bolts and nuts is something your customers and techs do on every bike they work on. Now they can do it faster and with more control. ■

Command Your Sound

Immersive Audio Experience for RZR Models

Known for its tuned audio systems for UTVs, MB Quart has now reimagined Polaris’ Ride Command system.

The stock Ride Command setup is a very techforward system, but lacks in audio finesse. MB Quart takes it to another level with its complete audio systems, speaker kits, and touchscreen source unit. Customers who want the complete audio experience will want the Stage 3 system (MBQRP-STG3-RC-1) for PRO XP / R / Turbo R models. This hair-standing system totals 800-watts of peak power delivered by two amplifiers blasting through upgraded front speakers and a subwoofer.

Customers can turn up the volume by adding rear speakers to the system with the MBQRP-R116 kit for the same model trims, delivering crisp sound through two rear speakers mounted in enclosures that integrate seamlessly into the vehicle and the Ride Command system.

“Our Stage 3 Tuned audio system is a plug-and-play solu-

look but deliver incredibly powerful sound. It will function with the Ride Command system or customers can choose to upgrade to our 7-inch touchscreen source unit.”

MB Quart’s GMR-7V1 touchscreen source unit and MBQRP-DASH-1 dash mount maximize the user experience, adding CarPlay and Android Auto functionality to truly put the control of the audio experience in customers’ hands. ■
