The Turner team is constantly innovating, as evidenced by the prefabricated terminal at Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW).
This was a landmark project for the company, highlighting its ability to efficiently deliver large-scale aviation infrastructure using prefabricated modules that reduced construction timelines and minimized disruption at an active airport.
The innovations implemented here will serve as a model for future aviation projects.
Another significant project is Turner’s work in Oakville, Canada with PowerON Energy Solutions, supporting Oakville Transit’s move to electrify its bus fleet and expand its garage facilities.
Playing a key role in this critical infrastructure upgrade, Turner is delivering construction that integrates the grid, site, charging facilities, and vehicle operations into a single seamless system.
This is a perfect example of how the company is evolving with the market as the project is deeply sustainable, aligning with zero-emission goals and helping reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) output within the public transit sphere.
Moreover, as the project demands tight integration across various disciplines such as electrical, civil, mechanical, and structural, Turner’s experience with lean construction processes and modular thinking is essential.

Additionally, it is also continuing work on a National Dog Guide Training Center for the Lions Foundation
of Canada Dog Guides (LFCDG) in Oakville – an 89,000 square foot (sqft) facility with classrooms, training rooms, guest accommodations, and indoor and outdoor spaces.
This remarkable project demonstrates that the company’s role extends beyond construction as it is helping to deliver a facility that is entrenched in the community and has lasting social value.
