As of November 2024, the electricity bill of Cebuano National High School (CNHS) increases up to approximately P84,000. During the flag ceremony, Assistant School Principal Rhene B. Senoc announces the rise of the bill. It is believed that the cause of the rise of the bill was due to improper use of electronic appliances by students. In order to save electric energy, Sir Senoc emphasized that "Students, teachers, and staff should decrease the usage of electricity". He also advises the students to minimize charging their gadgets in the classrooms and not to leave the electronic appliances open when not in use. "It was not nice to hear that the electric bill of the school rapidly escalate compare last month, since it may add to school's burden" said one of the students.
