Nicole Metz
Nicole Metz has more than 30 years of experience in Human Resources, supporting both Fortune 500 organizations and small government contractors, along with 8 years operating her own consulting firm. She served as Senior Director of Talent Management Intelligence Group for a corporation in Chantilly, Virginia, where she partnered with senior leaders on talent management and business priorities. Her work covered coaching, career management, personnel development, new manager integration, redeployment, diversity and inclusion, and succession planning. Nicole led efforts in performance management by setting goals, guiding organizational design, developing proposals, and strengthening employee relations. Her role also involved reporting, metrics, redeployment, and overseeing Reductions in Force. She directed a team of staffing and talent managers and created the company’s first redeployment guide, which became an essential tool for employees seeking new roles. Previously, she worked for eight years with a corporation in McLean, Virginia, first as Assistant Vice President of Human Resources, leading a team of professionals, and later as Director of Talent Development & Management. She developed program managers and IT professionals, delivered program management training, and was honored with President’s Club recognition three years in a row. Earlier in her career, Nicole held leadership positions with a communications company in Reston, Virginia, and a technology firm in Germantown, Maryland. She began her career at a global corporation in Federal Sales, later transitioning into sales training, where she taught over 750 new representatives and consistently achieved 100% student satisfaction for two consecutive years. She went on to become Sales Training Program Manager and contributed as a member of the People Development Board.
