Hello, hello, monsters!
My name is Zoe Yan and I am proudly serving as your Bulletin Edit the 2025 to 2026 term! Hope you guys aren't having too much trouble with classes and sleep schedules, I know I just started getting used to it... Anyway, by the time this letter will come out, the August DCM will be coming up very shortly, so I hope our summer and returning monsters can make it! In the far future, please follow our division instagram for our annual Regional Training Conference event in mid-September, where we will be chanting the roof down!!

For newer members, look out since it is officially Key Club season and, after this club rush, we will begin our usual general meetings! Find us in the cafeteria at 4PM after school for weekly updates, and games, on Thursday!! We will also release our second round of extended board applications soon, so make sure to have an eye out for that! Don't want to brag too much, but my board is definitely worth signing up for if you're interested in art or photography hehehe Alright, that is all from me, monsters! See you all in the next monthly issue!!

I hope everyone has been enjoying the start of a new school year and kicking it off with a blast! I can't believe it's already September... BUT that means it's time for CLUB RUSH!!! I am hoping to see everyone all there to come out, sign up, and join us for our very FIRST GENERAL MEETING for the 2025-2026 school year! I am super excited to meet everyone whether it's returning members or new, I am super pumped to have everyone back!

We have many events coming up for this month of September! One of our major upcoming event this month is our Region 16's DREAMER-TC!! Also known as RTC (Regional Training Conference) This is an annual event held by Region 16. Both members and officers from different divisions come together for a training conference with many educational workshops. These workshops provide information about leadership, running for office, and more! There are a lot of VERY interesting workshops, such as Key Club Rizz and Seaside 101! You definitely won't want to miss out! Towards the end of RTC, there is a spirit battle where we can potentially win the RTC Spirit Stick this year– and yes, we will be taking it home this year! So... let's lock in for both this new school year and RTC!! I can't wait to see everyone there!

I wasn’t able to come to Officer Training Conference, so Officer Spirit Training was my first time meeting all the other Division 7 South officers and it was a super fun experience! I didn’t know anybody outside MTKC board, so initially I felt like an outsider seeing that all a lot of the other officers seemed to know each other. But as the training progressed, I was able to get comfortable and got to make new friends with others who were also first-time officers in Key Club! Because the new chant was a tongue-twister, I kept messing up really bad but I felt really accomplished when I did it right! At the end we had a spirit battle and even though my group was the first to get out, we won at the end and I had an amazing time at my first officer spirit training session.

The Cookie Dash Run was originally a service event for Florin Key Club, and I went to support my cousin, but I found I enjoyed it all the same! This event was relaxing and the coordinators were very nice, even giving us cookies and letting us pet their pet dogs! The event mainly consisted of giving out water at checkpoints in the marathon and helping runners with directions. So overall, a very easygoing event. I made good friends in Florin Key Club (especially after I saw a lot of them at Wingstop after), and I recommend anyone to join any service event, even if it’s not specifically for your school!
