Matthew Deets of Wausau has built a career grounded in helping others move forward, not by chasing recognition but by offering steady guidance in his roles. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, Financial Coach, and President and Director of Operations at Impact Training Center, LLC, he steadily approaches situations that often involve uncertainty. His work spans emotional, financial, and professional development, always centered on providing practical tools that support meaningful change. Matthew grew up in Weyauwega, Wisconsin, where small-town values and close-knit community life shaped his early years. After graduating from high school in 2006, he pursued a degree in Psychology at the University of Wisconsin–Stevens Point, focusing on human services. His academic path reflected dedication, graduating Summa Cum Laude and earning multiple awards, including the Chancellor’s Leadership Award. He later earned a Master’s in Professional Counseling from the University of Wisconsin–Oshkosh. This educational foundation prepared him for a profession focused entirely on people. Matthew began his counseling work in residential therapy, where he provided care for youth in difficult situations. Over time, he moved into roles with greater responsibility, becoming a Program Supervisor and later a Clinical Coordinator. He also worked in private practice and held part-time clinical positions across several agencies. His focus included trauma work and risk assessments for both juveniles and adults. With training in trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy, Brainspotting, and motivational interviewing, he developed a versatile and grounded approach to treatment that centered on meeting clients where they were. In 2023, Matthew Deets of Wausau expanded his services to include financial coaching through certification with Ramsey Solutions. He launched MatthewjRPC, LLC, a coaching practice focused on helping individuals and families gain control of their finances.
