GIGANTIC GROWTH
Kai Tak, Wong Tai Sin, Hong Kong
Vertically growing cities designed for cities with aging trends, creating intergenerational environments to address social isolation of older adults.
Contemporary urban buildings are becoming denser as the population increases. In the context of highdensity cities, the needs of older persons, especially their emotional needs, are often overlooked in planning because of inadequate site conditions. Therefore, this project aims to grow the city upwards and to design the city with the needs of the elderly in mind, catering for all age groups.

PIT REUSE
Brumadinho,Minas Gerias,Brazil
Ecological and touring strategies designed for pits with different levels of restoration.
With industrialisation, the demand for minerals is increasing. However, mining destroys ecosystems, and the wastewater and waste discharged from mining pollute water, soil and air, threatening human health. Brazil is rich in mineral veins, but with this comes a variety of pollution problems. Therefore, this project is based on the restoration and utilisation of Brazilian veins based on their damage to nature.
Of Minas Gerias Main Tailings Dam Failures in Brazil between 2000-2023
Because of the different degrees of ecological restoration of the pits on the site, the design classifies the pits, and according to the location of the pits, the degree of restoration of the pits decreases from the urban area to the natural area, so the design divides the area into three parts, and classifies the design according to the type of pit in each part.
Travel Line Indication Point-Nature
Pit rehabilitation in natural areas promotes plant growth mainly through vegetation fixation. Economic growth and ecological restoration are promoted through the development of joint towns and cities through a model of animal husbandry, agriculture and tourism cycles
City-quarry Area
Mine pits in urban areas are focused on enriching and reinforcing vegetation, and there is a greater emphasis on the reuse of mine pits. Therefore, the project has designed a series of activities using different types of pits.
Restoring wetland functions to the original mine pits through water retention and supply methods and transforming them into wetland parks.

OCEAN PUDDING
Coast from Kuta to Seminyak,Bali,Indonesia
Litter collection and treatment strategies designed for marine tidal litter, with the development of speciality tourism in conjunction with litter treatment.
The project site is located in Bali, Indonesia. Due to the problem of rubbish accumulation in various oceanic rubbish belts and tidal influence, the Bali coast has been piled up with oceanic current rubbish for the last ten years. This project has led to the thinking of alleviating the problem of coastal marine debris by using Bali as a case study for plastic waste.
MARINE PATCHES MASTER PLAN
The project has developed a response programme for a nine-kilometre stretch of coast affected by tidal debris in Bali. The programme combines waste collection and treatment with human activities, constructing distinctive landscapes within each type of collection circle, while the circles include not only treatment plants but also a range of services such as hotels, bars, pools, restaurants and other facilities, turning them into tourist attractions.
GARBAGE DISPOSAL SYSTEM
When a person receives a collection signal from the monitoring system, the waste in the large waste collection unit is cleared and transported by boat to the waste circle for waste disposal. At the same time, oysters, seaweed and cm type rubbish collection units connected by rails are transported by rail to the main dock and then manually transported to the corresponding treatment plant. Inside the rubbish disposal circle, visitors can see the treatment process at the plant and participate in making rubbish crafts.

The project combines waste treatment with tourism activities, with each waste treatment circle incorporating different specialised cultures to make up for the lack of a single site nature in the past. There are commercial activities and rubbish, oyster and seaweed disposal activities in each circle for visitors to experience.
Activity Rendering
The project combines the coast with a treatment circle via a trestle. The trestle acts as a third line of defence for marine litter disposal, with oyster, seaweed and small plastic litter collection devices hanging below the trestle. Workers collect them on rails on the trestle and take them to the various treatment pens for disposal.

Modelling And Production Production Process
Model information
Model Scale: 1:1000
Model Size:1.5*0.6M Materials:Foam Board, Drip Glue, Resin,Pigments
Waste Disposal Circle Handmade Model
The model is made from the main body made from drip glue, foam board, and resin material. The main body of the building is made of resin material, which is accurately shaped by 3D printing technology, and then it is sanded and processed and then sprayed with special paint for colouring, in order to show the realistic texture and colour effect. The ocean part firstly cuts out the seabed texture from the bubble template, and then brushes out the seabed colour through pigment to simulate the seabed effect. Then, the drip glue is mixed with colour, and the modulated drip glue is slowly poured into the pre-designed moulds to form a realistic seawater effect after curing. Finally, the model is assembled and put together to complete the modelling.
