Inspiring educators in every classroom
Unlock your potential with expert-led training
Inspiration Teaching School Hub is one of 87 regional teaching school hubs across England, responsible for delivering expert-led training to teachers and leaders in Breckland, Great Yarmouth, South Norfolk and Waveney.

We’re here to support professional development at every stage of an educator’s career and offer programmes and courses running from initial teacher training through to leadership:

Initial Teacher Training (ITT)
Early Career Teacher Entitlement (ECTE)
National Professional Qualifications (NPQs)
Our training is delivered by experienced facilitators and leaders who bring deep knowledge of classroom practice and school leadership, tailoring content to different phases, settings and subject areas.
Working with nationally-recognised training partners, including Ambition Institute, the National Institute of Teaching and Best Practice Network, we strive to ensure teachers in Norfolk and Suffolk can access local, research-informed training relevant to their context.

As an Associate College of the National Institute of Teaching, Inspiration TSH delivers research-informed, high-quality pathways to Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE).
We offer fee-paying graduate courses and apprenticeships across a range of subjects and phases. There are now many funded routes to QTS, including apprenticeships and bursaries of up to £29,000.

Our training approach is school-centred from the start, with placements beginning in September. Trainees attend weekly sessions at the hub, led by expert practitioners, and receive tailored in-school support from experienced mentors to help refine their classroom practice.
The Postgraduate Teaching Apprenticeship (PGTA) is ideal for those already employed in schools, offering a salaried route to QTS with course fees fully funded through the Apprenticeship Levy. Those on fee-paying routes may be eligible for substantial bursaries, depending on subject and phase.

The training has been a great experience. The sessions were well-presented, engaging and thoughtfully planned. I’ve felt really well supported throughout the course.

Offering training placements enriches and diversifies the workforce of your school and secures a talent pipeline for the future. If your school would like to explore offering trainee placements, we’d love to hear from you.
Early career teachers (ECTs) are entitled to additional professional development support during their first two years of teaching.
The Early Career Teacher Entitlement (ECTE) includes an ECT training programme , an in-school mentor, additional time off timetable and regular assessment against the Teachers’ Standards. Appropriate bodies (ABs) are responsible for quality assuring ECT induction and assessment.
We partner with Ambition Institute to deliver the Early Career Training Programme (ECTP), supporting new teachers and their mentors from day one.
Our provider-led ECT programme is fully funded by the DfE for most schools. Underpinned by the Initial Teacher Training and Early Career Framework (ITTECF), the ECTP helps new teachers to develop the skills and knowledge to succeed.
Let’s work together to give teachers at the start of their journey the best possible chance of a long, fulfilling and life-changing career.

Appropriate bodies quality assure ECT induction, ensuring that schools provide the necessary support for their ECTs and that their assessment is fair and consistent. ECTs cannot start their induction until they are registered with an appropriate body.
100% of our ECTs and mentors agree that our facilitators show knowledge and expertise
99.5% of our participants feel that our training supports good and improved practice in their school

Inspiration Teaching School Hub has been serving as an appropriate body for schools across Norfolk and Suffolk since 2023.
While schools are free to choose separate providers for ECT training and appropriate body services, many opt to keep both with the same hub to consolidate their ECT services, streamline communication and reduce administrative workload.
We support induction leads and schools with training and practical resources, helping schools meet their responsibilities with clarity, consistency and confidence from the outset.
National Professional Qualifications (NPQs) are flexible, nationally recognised professional development programmes, accredited by the Department for Education. Designed for both aspiring and current school leaders, they offer specialist and leadership pathways to support career progression.
The courses are delivered through a combination of face-to-face seminars, online training and self-directed online study. They end with a final assessment.
Inspiration Teaching School Hub is proud to be partnering with Best Practice Network (BPN) and the National Institute of Teaching (NIoT) to deliver our NPQ programmes.

“Well-organised, excellent self study, brilliant coaching sessions and useful interactions with peers.”

One of the main strengths of the course is the quality and supportiveness of the tutors. They are knowledgeable, approachable and clearly passionate about teaching. They create a positive and reflective learning environment, offering valuable insights drawn from their own experience. Their guidance has been both practical and encouraging, helping to bridge the gap between theory and everyday classroom practice.
