MICHAEL SEAL conductor RACHEL LEACH presenter LONDON PHILHARMONIC ORCHESTRA Sergei Prokofiev’s Peter and the Wolf tells the tale of a boy, a bird, a duck, a cat … and a wolf! Ignoring his grandpa’s warnings, Peter heads out to the meadow, because who’s afraid of a wolf? A classic for a reason, Peter and the Wolf is the perfect example of brilliant music that shines a light on different instruments of the orchestra through compelling storytelling. Performed alongside music from Samuel Coleridge-Taylor’s dramatic Othello Suite, and with a fun song to sing all about a hungry wolf, this is going to be an unforgettable concert experience for all the family. So settle in, get ready to use your singing voices, and join the LPO for today’s lively musical adventure!
