Abstract - The "Instant Home Service Hub" aims to transform the household service industry by automating manual service booking processes and offering a scalable, user-centricdigitalplatform.Thisstudydetailsthedual-portal architecture catering to service seekers and administrators, integrating features such as real-time appointment scheduling, service provider verification, and review systems. Built with modern technologies like React.js and Node.js, the platform ensures efficiency, scalability, and security. Future enhancements, including AI recommendations and IoT integration,positionthisplatformasarevolutionarysolution for household services.

1.2 Motivation
The motivation for this project arises from the persistent challenges consumers face in securing skilled and trustworthy service providers. Many individuals struggle withmanualbookingmethods,whichoftenleadtomissed appointments, delays, and communication issues. By leveragingwebdevelopmentanddatamanagement

Their study highlightedchallengessuchasmismatchedschedules,trust deficits,andlackofqualityassurance.Theproposedsystem incorporated real-time slot management and JWT-based authentication for secure user access. These findings are instrumental in shaping the "Instant Home Service Hub," particularly in implementing authentication mechanisms anddynamicschedulingfeatures.

Shahrzad Shahriari et al. (2015) studied the impact of ecommerceonglobalmarkets,highlightinguserexpectations regarding seamless online transactions and service reliability.Theirresearchsupportstheinclusionofsecure paymentgatewaysandblockchain-basedauthenticationin the "Instant Home Service Hub" for enhanced trust and transparency.
Findingreliable,high-qualityhouseholdserviceprovidersis challenging due to unavailability, lack of trust, and skills mismatch. Customers may worry about the quality and safety of the work. Manual booking systems also lead to confusion,withappointmentslotsnotbeingupdatedinreal time,resultinginmissedservices.Finally,managingmultiple service providersfordifferenttaskscanbeoverwhelming andtime-consuming,leavingcustomersdissatisfiedwiththe overallexperience.Manualbookingprocessesareinefficient, leadingtomissedappointments,supervisionchallenges,and difficultyinmanagingtime,affectingcustomersatisfaction.
Current household service systems are fragmented and inefficient.Usersoftenrelyonmanualmethodsorunverified sourcestofindserviceproviders,leadingtotrustandquality issues. Existing platforms lack real-time updates, secure transactions,andproperuserfeedbackmechanisms.
TheInstantHomeServiceHubintroducesadigitalplatform withthefollowingfeatures:
1. User Portal : Real-time scheduling, verified providers, budgetestimation,andratings.
2. Admin Portal : Service provider management, user feedbackanalysis,andsecurityfeatures.
3. Technology Stack : React.js for frontend, Node.js and MongoDB for backend, and JWT-based authentication for security.

The Instant Home Service Hub requires well-optimized hardwareinfrastructuretoensuresmoothfunctionalityand scalability.Ontheclient-side,usersneedadevicesuchasa laptop,desktop,tablet,orsmartphonewithaminimumIntel Core i3 processor, 4GB RAM, and 20GB of free storage to efficientlyaccesstheplatform.Astableinternetconnectionof atleast5Mbpsisrecommendedforseamlessbrowsingand real-timeupdates.Ontheserver-side,powerfulhardwareis essentialtohandlelargevolumesofuserrequestsanddata storage.TheservershouldbeequippedwithanIntelXeonor AMDRyzen7multi-coreprocessor,atleast16GBofRAM,and 500GBSSDstoragetoensurefastdataprocessingandhigh availability. Additional server-side requirements include a 100Mbpsnetworkbandwidthforefficientdatatransmission andbackupstoragesolutionslike1TBHDDorcloud-based storagetopreventdataloss.

storage,withMongooseasanObjectDataModeling(ODM) toolforstructureddatahandling. SecureauthenticationisimplementedusingJWT(JSONWeb Tokens)tomanageusersessions,whileHTTPSencryption ensures data security during transmission. The system supports multiple operating environments, including Windows,macOS,andLinux,ensuringcompatibilityacross variousdevices.TestingisperformedusingtoolssuchasJest, Postman,andReactTestingLibrary,validatingbothfrontend and backend functionality. This well-integrated software ecosystem ensures a secure, efficient, and scalable home serviceplatform.

The frontend is built using React.js, ensuring a highly interactiveandresponsiveuserexperience.ReactRouteris implemented to manage seamless navigation between differentpages,whileTailwindCSSandBootstrapenhance theplatform’sUIwithmoderndesignelements.Thefrontend interacts with the backend via RESTful APIs, facilitating servicebrowsing,booking,andreal-timeupdates.
ThebackendisdevelopedusingNode.jswithExpress.js, handlingbusinesslogic,dataprocessing,andAPIrequests. The system follows a modular approach, where each functionality, such as user authentication, service management, and booking system, is managed through separatemodules.TheMongoDBdatabase,integratedwith Mongoose ORM, efficiently stores and retrieves user data, service details, and transaction records. JWT-based authenticationensuressecureusersessions,whilerole-based access control (RBAC) differentiates permissions between users,serviceproviders,andadministrators.
For booking and order management, real-time slot allocation is implemented to prevent scheduling conflicts, enhancinguserexperienceandservicereliability.Theorder management module tracks service requests, processing statuses from bookingconfirmation to service completion. HTTPSprotocolsforsecurecommunication.
By combining a scalable architecture, efficient data management, and secure authentication mechanisms, the InstantHomeServiceHubisimplementedasacutting-edge platformthatsimplifiestheprocessoffindingandbooking householdserviceswhileensuringtrust,security,anduser satisfaction.

MongoDB enables scalable data storage, while JWT-based authenticationenhancessecurityandusertrust.Thesystem effectively addresses key challenges in traditional service booking,suchaslackofreliability,inefficientscheduling,and manual supervision, by introducing real-time slot management, automated bookings, and user reviews to improveservicequality.Theplatform’smodularandscalable architectureensuresadaptabilityforfutureadvancements, suchasAI-drivenservicerecommendations,IoTintegration for smart home compatibility, and blockchain for service providerauthentication.Thecloud-baseddeploymentwith CI/CD pipelines guarantees high availability, seamless updates, and optimal performance. Extensive testing, including unit, integration, usability, and performance testing,validatestherobustnessandefficiencyofthesystem.
