Howe fifth grader finishes second in state
designated seat for the varsity games for the five home games of the season. Game admission tickets are $5.00 for adults and $3 for students and must be purchased at the gate. Reserved seats may be purchased at the high school office.

Howe's Braden Ulmer finished second at the TAAF state track meet in McAllen, Texas with a throw of 28' 2" in the shot put event. Ulmer is a member of the Sherman Elite track program. His is the son of Terry and April Ulmer of Howe.
The door kicked in at the North Field storage building. Frantz, a Howe graduate who considers Howe his home while living in Luella, offered up a reward of $500 and another former Howe graduate offered up an additional $100. Many other locals have come forward to donate materials and skills to ensure the buildings are better
protected in the future. Cavender Home Theater donated a game camera to catch the vandals. If anyone has information on the destruction of city property, please inform the Howe Police Department. It will make you $600 which is $600 more than what is inside the buildings.
Softball tourney raises money for boosters Devin Hargrove, a Howe alumnus wanted to give back to his school so he formed a softball tournament that would benefit the athletic booster club. The tournament took place all day Saturday and well into the evening. A home run derby also took place on the softball field (see pictures at howeenteprisephotos.com). The event eventually raised a total of Dalton Harris swings and watches a homer go over the wall in a game on Saturday.
