Crystal Bridges Direct Mailer 1.
This project involved designing a direct mail piece with a 3D or specialty folding element, while adhering to USPS guidelines and bulk envelope sizing. I conducted research on the Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art, analyzing their communication style and exhibit descriptions. The final concept featured an artist aligned with the museum’s curatorial vision, with the goal of encouraging membership renewal. The piece showcased a proposed exhibit highlighting the bold, iconic work of Keith Haring.
Artisan Chocolate Packaging 2.
This project focused on designing a series of artisan chocolate packages based on a designated theme—in this case, Brazil. The packaging draws inspiration from Brazilian culture, including the vibrant energy of Carnival, and incorporates elements of deconstruction and urban skylines. Each package features a fold-out flap that opens like a book, revealing the story behind the brand, Masked Macaw. The design bridges the client’s personal journey from Brazil to Washington D.C., with visual nods to both places, including an illustrated D.C. skyline and cultural references to Brazil.

Book Jacket Series 3.
This project involved redesigning a series of book jackets with a cohesive visual style. I created new covers for three titles in the Inheritance Cycle, commonly known as the Eragon series. Unlike most existing designs that highlight the dragons, this series offers a fresh perspective by centering the visual narrative on the protagonist, Eragon, to emphasize his personal journey and growth.
Editorial Illustration 4.
This project required the design of a magazine title spread and interior spread, featuring a cohesive set of illustrations, including a large title image or half-page illustration, along with supporting spot illustrations. All visuals were designed to complement and enhance the article’s subject matter, which in this case focused on drone warfare. Careful consideration was given to standard magazine dimensions, margins, bleeds, and print specifications to ensure a polished, print-ready layout.

Children’s Book Monster Project 5.
This project involved collaborating with an elementary school student to bring their original monster concept to life. I created a children’s book cover and interior spread featuring the monster, incorporating an interactive element within the design. The student, a fan of LEGO and 3D printing, envisioned a block-based monster with wheels and a 3D printer in its chest used for battling villains. The design was tailored to capture his creative ideas while transforming them into a playful and engaging book layout.

Leg loves his job and the city he has built. He loves it so much, that he defended the city from michievous critters who wanted to destroy all of it!
We are the flamekin, and we are here to wreck your city! We hate all the order and cleanliness! It needs more chaos! MUCH MORE!
Stand aside, Brickbert, so that we may re-make the city how WE like it!
Restaurant Logo Menu Design 6.
This project involved designing a logo for a Southwest BBQ restaurant using figure/ground elements. I created the identity for ‘Coyote Canyon Eatery,’ incorporating the New International Typographic style, which is characterized by grid-based layouts, slanted type, and bold color choices. The design balances these stylistic elements to reflect the restaurant’s unique brand while adhering to the principles of this iconic typography style.
The RAY Museum of Arts Group Branding 7.
OPENING
APRIL 12
A collaboration between graphic designers, architects, and interior designers, this project focused on creating a unique brand and identity for The Ray Detroit Museum of Arts. The concept centered on movement and growth, reflecting the museum’s dynamic relationship with art and the city of Detroit. The design incorporates sleek dark grays with subtle ombré gradients to evoke transformation, while cracks inspired by Japanese Kintsugi symbolize resilience and the beauty of imperfection. The result is an identity that celebrates both artistic evolution and the strength found in change.
