Why Girl Scout Camp?

Dear Girl Scout Campers and Families,

A new summer of adventure is just around the corner, and we can’t wait to welcome girls to our Girl Scout camps!

Camp is more than a getaway, it’s a place where girls discover what they’re capable of, build meaningful connections, and create stories they’ll carry with them for years to come. Whether this is your camper’s first summer or a return to familiar trails, our programs are thoughtfully designed to inspire curiosity, confidence, and a love of the outdoors.

At our camps, girls explore nature, challenge themselves through various activities, and foster a sense of independence. From archery, ropes courses and canoeing to arts and crafts, every day is packed with excitement and discovery. Our experienced and caring staff ensure that camp is a welcoming, safe space, where every camper is encouraged to be herself and try something new.

What makes camp truly special is the sense of community. Girls create lifelong friendships that extend beyond the summer. These shared experiences help build confidence, resilience, and teamwork skills— qualities that will serve our girls throughout their lives.

Don’t just take my word for it! Read what all campers are saying about their experience!

I loved camp and how much I learned. My counselors were kind, brave, strong, and so much more. Most of all they made me feel like family. ” —Junior

We offer both day camp and overnight camp that include traditional camp experiences as well as specific programs for whatever your interests may be. There’s something for everyone!

Let’s make this summer one to remember! Camp Registration will begin on February 2 at 6:00 a.m. I encourage you to sign up early, as spots fill up quickly. Together, we can create unforgettable adventures that inspire growth, friendship, and happiness outdoors.

Thank you for being a part of our Girl Scout family. I can’t wait to see you at camp!

Volunteer-led Day Camp

Dates: vary

Girl Scouts GCNWI is proud to be an organization supported by many hard-working and enthusiastic volunteers who choose to plan and run volunteer-led day camps for the Girl Scouts in their service units. We encourage you to reach out to your service unit manager to see if there are any volunteer-led day camp opportunities available near you.

You and Me

Dates: July 11-12, August 8-9

Grab your favorite female adult and join us for an unforgettable Glow & Grow themed You and Me campout! Spend 24 hours at camp surrounded by nature, laughter, and light as you strengthen your bond and make lasting memories. Together you’ll meet new friends, splash in the pool, and choose your own adventure through a mix of glowing and growing activities—from creative crafts to scavenger hunts and outdoor games. As night falls, gather around the campfire to cook dinner, trade SWAPS, and savor gooey s’mores before a magical glow stick hike lights your way back to the lodge. This campout encourages a 1:1 ratio and is the perfect way to slow down, shine bright, and grow together!
