I know I do. Sometimes it seems we get far more bad news than good — so it’s natural to seek out and enjoy the good news when it comes. However, as much as I enjoy receiving good news — I enjoy sharing good news even more. And sharing good news is what I get to do today!
After over a year of being in Phases 1 and 2 of our ReEmerge Plan, we are finally able to move into Phase 3. With the CDC’s announcement last Thursday, we feel that we can safely move forward. Therefore, we are making some moves now. If you were with us last Sunday morning, you may have noticed some evidence of the move forward beginning. For example, no longer will we be placing Ministry Guides on the pews to mark appropriate socialdistancing seating. Now you will receive your Ministry Guide as you arrive, and you may choose your seat for the Worship Service.

Offerings and Connection Cards will be collected in the Offering Boxes located just inside the two main entrances into our Worship Center, as well as in the Office Hallway.
Having trouble hearing? See a Greeter at the Welcome Desk to use an assisted hearing device. We now have a new system with 8 devices available to use during our worship services.

Extended Session will begin in June! The Kid City Preschool will be open during our Worship Service! Our qualified staff will be ready to care for and teach your babies, toddlers, and preschoolers. Take advantage of this by dropping off your little ones before the Worship Service begins.
Other moves are planned to begin in June, including some in-person classes. On Tuesday, June 1st at 10:00 a.m., Men’s Bible Study will begin in-person in Room 202, and The Magnificent Obsession study for women will also begin in the Fellowship Hall — now open without limited enrollment. The Ruth Sunday School class for Senior Women and the Saints Senior Men’s Sunday School class will open in-person at 9:00 a.m. on Sunday, June 6th. These will be our only Sunday School classes at this time. For our kids, good news is also coming in June. Kids for Christ (with an all-new curriculum — BRITE — from Awana) and Extended Session for Preschoolers will be available during Worship. The exact start date will be announced next week. And finally, Vacation Bible School — ANGRY WORDS: Using Words to Build Others Up Instead of Tearing Them Down — will be on Wednesday evenings from 6:30 – 8:00 p.m., on June 9th, 16th, 23rd and 30th in Kid City. continued
