WE NEED HELP!

We need 16 pregnant women who are willing to be ULTRASOUND MODELS for 4 sonographers who are being certified/ re-certified. A professional ultrasound trainer will be with them. When: August 20 – August 21, Thursday and Friday Appointments every 45 minutes, starting at 9:00 am until 4 pm What: We especially need women who are in their first (6 wks - 20 wks gestation) to serve as models. Each woman will receive an ultrasound photo and a special thank you gift! There is NO cost for this ultrasound.

One is there to support the team — to cheer them on when they’re playing well and when they’re playing not so well. Win or lose, they wear the colors, they wave the banner, they remain loyal.

The picture I am using this week is the University of Tennessee Stadium full of those who are supporting their team. One of the college football games I attended was Tennessee vs USC in Los Angeles. The Vols had an exceptionally large cheering section that day. Even though they lost the game, they cheered for their team — even as they were leaving the stadium when the game was over.

In contrast, there are always some who aren’t there to support the team — but rather only to be entertained by the team. When their side wins, they’ll gladly take the credit — as if they played a part. When their side loses, they’re quick to boo and belittle their own players — as if they themselves could have done better. My theory is that one’s attitude in the stands pretty much reflects one’s attitude in life. You’re either loyal to those around you, rain or shine, offering support and encouragement through wins and losses — or you’re like the fair-weather fan, waiting to pounce on someone’s mistake. continued …
