“The faithful love of the Lord never ends! His mercies never cease.” ~ Lamentations 3:22 (NLT) ~

HIS LOVE NEVER FAILS

As our world — or at least our immediate area of the world — is coming out from under the COVID pandemic and lock-down, we are discovering some consequences and after-affects. I recently learned that two of our Refocus Cohort churches came under great financial hardship. I praise God that they have survived because of His care and the faithfulness of His people. The State Offering, we and many other churches contributed to last year made a great impact.

Another Cohort church has become a campus of a much larger church in the Valley, thus extending their outreach and ministry. One of our Associational churches experienced several deaths due to COVID in the same week — all key leaders in the church. Today the church is moving forward in ministry. Last evening, I learned that the grandfather of two of our Awana boys passed away last year due to COVID. He was the Pastor of one the Hispanic churches here in Prescott Valley. His son-in-law is now leading the church forward. Pastor Steve Brown tells a story about a woman who gave her mother a birthday card that plays music. You’ve seen one, no doubt. The music plays when the card is open and stops when the card is closed.

Having trouble hearing? See a Greeter at the Welcome Desk to use an assisted hearing device. We now have a new system with 8 devices available to use during our worship services.

The card this woman received, however, didn’t stop playing when it was closed. It continued to play. She opened the card and closed it again. Still, it played. She tried yet again. Kept playing. She even tried bopping it with a hammer. The card kept playing.

So, she put the card back in its envelope, took it outside and dropped it in the garbage can. As she walked away, she could still hear it playing. continued
