Both are somewhat ugly websites, but they help us understand a little better how the rest of the world lives — and how rich we are in comparison to them. In How Rich Am I? You put in your salary, it tells you where you rank on the list of the world’s richest and poorest people. For example, if you make $50,000 per year, that puts you in the top 1.5% of the world’s highest earners. If you make $35,000 you’re in the top 3.5%. And if you make the US minimum wage, you’re in the top 10.4%.

Therefore, we need to realize that when the Bible talks about the rich, it’s talking about us. It’s not just referring to Jeff Bezos, Bill Gates and Warren Buffett — but you and me.
