If you are missing the Christmas lights and festive cheer, January can seem like a gloomy month with broken resolutions, fad diets and miserable weather to look forward to. It can however, also be a time for a fresh start or to focus on staying healthy and happy. This issue we offer some suggestions for resolutions that might actually stick (p.16), suggest ways to help your child prepare for upcoming exams (p.7) and look at how to help a young but anxious or overwhelmed child (pp. 9-10).
