Part café, part creative haven, Daak is Hyderabad’s answer to the artisanal coffee revolution Its small, artsy interiors make every table feel like an invitation to stay longer than planned. New Niloufer Café
Ask any Hyderabadi about chai, and chances are Niloufer will be the first name on their lips. More than a café, it’s an institution that transcends class and generation The Irani chai here, thick, creamy, and sweet enough to count as dessert, is best paired with their Osmania biscuits. You’ll spot college kids, families, and office-goers all under one roof, proving that Niloufer is less about trend and more about belonging In an ever-changing café scene, Niloufer is a reminder that some rituals never go out of style
If Daak and Niloufer are about intimacy, Paul’s is about cosmopolitan chic. With its European-inspired interiors, freshly baked croissants, and artisanal breads, Paul’s is Hyderabad’s slice of Paris. It is equally suited for a long brunch with friends or a solo pastry indulgence Their hot chocolate, rich and velvety, has become a quiet cult favourite. Paul’s isn’t just a café, it’s an escape into another world, one where time moves more slowly and everything tastes better with butter
Enjoy your hot chocolate at- Silpa Gram Craft Village, HITEC City, Hyderabad, Telangana 500032

Enjoy your curated caffeineation at- Plot No 1113, Road Number 54, Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad, Telangana 500033

Habit caters to a crowd that lives on tight schedules but refuses to compromise on flavour. With its vast menu, speedy service, and speciality brews, it bridges convenience with craft It’s not just a café; it’s a reflection of the city’s evolving rhythm, fast, ambitious, and forward-looking. Enjoy your Favourite Matcha Menu at- Terrace, Vimbri Boulevard, Road No 4, Green Valley, Banjara Hills, Hyderabad, Telangana 500034
What Cafés Mean to Hyderabad Today
Beyond menus and interiors, cafés today are social laboratories They have become the new adda, replacing the traditional street corner or the college canteen, where Hyderabad’s youth form friendships, entrepreneurs brainstorm startups, and families find neutral ground for outings.
They also reveal the hybrid identity of the city: half rooted in chai-biscuit nostalgia, half racing toward global cosmopolitanism. A single café crawl can take you from Irani chai in a steel tumbler to a Chemex-poured single-origin Ethiopian roast That juxtaposition is what makes Hyderabad’s café culture uniquely its own.
Hyderabad may never outgrow its title as the City of Biryani, but its cafés are steadily scripting a parallel narrative one brewed in espresso shots, buttery buns, and creative reinventions. They are where heritage meets hashtags, where old Irani charm meets futuristic precision brewing, and where every generation finds a corner that feels like theirs.
In cafés, the city finds its pulse. The college student sipping Irani chai at Niloufer, the startup founder typing away at Habitat, the artist sketching at Daak, the influencer posing at Paul’s together, they form a mosaic of a city that is constantly evolving but never losing its flavour.
If biryani is Hyderabad’s heart, cafés are its rhythm. They keep the city awake, connected, and endlessly alive one cup at a time.

ESHA
Q. Would you like to give a brief about yourself and tell us what inspired you to create travel content?
Myself Esha. I'm a travel content creator who thrives on exploring new places, cultures, and perspectives. What started as a personal passion project— just documenting trips for the memories—slowly grew into something bigger. I realized that through travel content, I could inspire others to step out of their routines, explore the world with intention, and connect more deeply with the places they visit. The turning point came when I started receiving messages from people saying my content encouraged them to plan their first solo trip or visit a place they’d never considered. That’s when I knew this was more than just a hobby.
I love facing the Camera and have been into content creation for the past decade. I also serve as the Joint Secretary for Telangana Artists Association.
Q. Of the many places you’ve visited, if you had to choose your top 3 favourites, which ones would they be and why?
Jordan – It felt like walking through a living history book. From the ancient city of Petra to the vast, surreal landscapes of Wadi Rum, every part of Jordan left me in awe. The hospitality of the people made the experience even more meaningful.
Switzerland – It’s a postcard in motion. The sheer beauty of the Alps, the serenity of the lakes, and the efficiency of the country all made it a dream to explore. It’s where nature and precision coexist perfectly.
Spain – For its vibrancy, warmth, and energy. Whether it’s the architectural wonder of Barcelona, the soul of flamenco in Seville, or the tapas culture in Madrid, Spain has a rhythm that’s hard to resist.
Q. In one word, describe your travel style when budget is no object?
Immersive.
I love diving deep into a place—learning its language, cooking its food, living like a local—even if just for a few days.
Q. What do you enjoy the most about being a travel vlogger? What I love most is storytelling—bringing a destination to life beyond just aesthetics. It’s about capturing moments that are raw, real, and relatable. Also, connecting with a global audience who shares the same curiosity about the world makes the experience incredibly rewarding. Through my lens, I aim to show not just the highlights, but the heart of a place.
Q. How do you balance wanderlust with eco-consciousness? By being mindful and making conscious choices. I try to travel more slowly, reduce single-use plastics, support local artisans and businesses, and choose accommodations and experiences that prioritize sustainability. I also believe in educating my audience along the way—because the more aware we are, the more positive impact we can make while still exploring the world.

ZEESHAN
Q. Would you like to brief us about yourself and tell us what inspired you to create travel content? Hi, I am Zeeshan. My Mother worked for an airline, hence we got to travel the World at a very young age. Been taking pictures even before social media was a thing.
KRUPA RAJGOR
Q. Would you like to give a brief about yourself and tell us what inspired you to create travel content?
I am Krupa Rajgor. I was born in Gujarat, but my journey truly began when I moved to Chennai to study Bharatanatyam. Dance taught me grace, discipline, and how to tell stories without words. After that, life took me across different international schools where I worked for a few years, and eventually into the world of modeling, which I pursued for five years.
But I’ve always been drawn to experiences that feel rare and timeless. That’s what led me into luxury blogging and travel content creation. For me, travel isn’t just about seeing a new place — it’s about discovering old-world charm, hidden retro bars, heritage hotels, and experiences that you don’t just scroll past but remember for a lifetime. My inspiration comes from a desire to show the world that true luxury lies in exclusivity, in those stories that remain untold until you live them.
Q. Of the many places you’ve visited, if you had to choose your top 3 favourites, which ones would they be and why?
If I had to pick my top three, Shimla would definitely be one of them — there’s something magical about walking under the tall deodar trees, strolling down Mall Road, and meeting the warm, welcoming people. It’s a mix of nature, nostalgia, and charm that feels timeless. Then there’s Grindelwald in Switzerland. Honestly, I’ve never seen beauty like this — it feels like you’re inside a movie, where every frame is picture-perfect. It’s a quiet little town, yet every corner looks like a painting come alive. And of course, Mykonos — the ultimate blend of fashion, travel, and nightlife. White and blue everywhere, chic little bars tucked around every corner, and a vibe that makes you want to dress up and dance the night away. It’s where elegance meets energy.
Q. What do you enjoy the most about being a travel vlogger?
What I enjoy most about being a travel blogger is the chance to live moments that stay with me forever. Meeting new people, making friends who often turn into lifelong connections, and becoming a part of history when I step into retro spaces — all of it makes the journey special. I love spending hours by rivers, mountains, or under trees, or simply sitting in a quiet café, where I get to understand myself a little better with every trip. For me, travel is not just movement; it’s about feeling rooted in experiences, discovering timeless beauty, and creating stories that never fade.
Q. In one word, describe your travel style when budget is no object? Exclusive
Q. How do you balance wanderlust with eco-consciousness?
For me, travel is about creating memories without leaving scars behind. I choose boutique stays that respect local culture, prefer experiences over excess, and support communities by dining local and shopping from artisans. My idea of luxury doesn’t mean waste — it means being mindful. Whether it’s walking through a heritage town instead of driving, or spending hours in nature without disturbing it, I believe true wanderlust is about cherishing the world while protecting it. After all, exclusivity is not just about where you go, but how gracefully you leave it behind.
@krupa_rajgor

MADHU
Q. Would you brief us about yourself and tell us what inspired you to create travel content? Hi, my name is Madhu, and I am a travel content creator based out of Bangalore. Before working as a full-time content creator, I was working as marketing head for one of the multinational companies. Since I loved travelling and journaling my experiences, I wanted to give this profession a try, and that's how I started documenting my travel journey on my website (which I created from scratch). I received a very good response from the audience, and that encouraged me to foray into new platforms. Gradually, I started creating content on Instagram and YouTube, too.
Q. Of the many places you’ve visited, if you had to choose your top 3 favourites, which ones would they be and why?
My top 3 would be Bali, New York, and Hawaii (many places and countries are on my bucket list and yet to be explored)
Bali - Bali was my first international vacation, which lasted for 12 days, and I have many fond memories from there. So it holds a special place in my heart. Not only is the island beautiful, it's also diverse and offers everything from pristine beaches to volcanic mountains, waterfalls, rich culture, and of course, great nightlife
New York - I am not much of a city person, and I like to explore outdoors and places surrounded by nature, but the kind of energy and the vibe that I felt in New York is something extraordinary. I never felt that anywhere else. I loved walking across Central Park and the Brooklyn Bridge, trying different restaurants. It was an unforgettable trip
Hawaii - Hawaii was always on top of my bucket list, and last year I got an opportunity to visit Maui, as it was my sister's wedding there. Needless to say, the island feels unreal with its gigantic mountains, turquoise blue water, and vast landscape. Visiting Hawaii was a dream come true. Although I couldn't explore much but I do look forward to going back again
Q. What do you enjoy the most about being a travel vlogger? Exploring new places, meeting new people, and learning about their culture is always exciting as a traveler. But when people appreciate the content you create, when your content can help people explore different places, is when you get real satisfaction. That's the motivation that keeps me going.
Q. How do you ensure sustainability while exploring the world? Sustainable and responsible travelling is the need of the hour. As a traveller, the first and foremost thing that I keep in mind is to respect and be mindful of local culture and traditions. Secondly, I try to buy things from local vendors that support the locals. Also, some practices I have adopted over a period of time are to carry my own cloth bag to avoid plastic bags, ensure not to litter anywhere, and take such small steps that could help nature and our environment.
Q. What have been some of your favourite foods that you’ve sampled during your travels?
I love exploring local cuisine (although I am a vegetarian, so internationally sometimes I get limited options), but some of the favourite foods that I can recall are traditional Goan cuisine that we tried during our recent Goa trip, I love fruits like mangoes and guavas in Thailand, Lebanese and Mediterranean cuisine in Dubai, and chana bhatura and chats from Delhi. (My mouth is already watering.)

APOORWA JOSHI
Q. Would you brief us about yourself and tell us what inspired you to create travel content? Hi, This is Apoorwa. I didn't have a specific inspiration to create travel content. As people started liking my content, travel content creation just evolved naturally – it wasn't a planned endeavor.
Q. Of the many places you've visited, if you had to choose your top 3 favorites, which ones would they be and why?
My top three favorites would be:
1. Nubra Valley in Ladakh – the breathtaking views are simply out of this world.

I've enjoyed trying jalebi and samosa in Kolkata, siddhu in Himachal, dal bhaat with bhang ki chutney in Uttarakhand, and pyaaz

VISHAL FERNANDES
Q. Would you like to give a brief about yourself and tell us what inspired you to create travel content? Hello, this is Vishal Fernandes. I often like to say that my life is a curated collection of passports, stories, and sensory indulgences from the world’s most exquisite corners. I began as someone who loved the art of storytelling as much as the joy of discovery — travel writing allowed me to merge both. What inspired me the most, though, was realizing that luxury isn’t just about five-star suites or champagne at 30,000 feet; it’s about curated experiences, soulful connections, and the beauty of savouring the planet in an elevated yet conscious way. I wanted to share that side of travel with people — the kind that transforms you, not just entertains you.
Q. Of the many places you’ve visited, if you had to choose your top 3 favourites, which ones would they be and why?
Marrakesh, Morocco – A feast for the senses with its vibrant souks, hidden riads, and gardens that feel like an oasis in the midst of chaos. Its luxury wrapped in tradition and colour.
Kyoto, Japan – A place of pure serenity. The temples, tea houses, and cherry blossoms remind you that sometimes the most profound luxury is found in stillness and simplicity.
Porto, Portugal – A city that’s soulful and cinematic, with its riverside views, stunning tile-clad streets, and, of course, the timeless charm of sipping port wine at sunset.
Q. In one word, describe your travel style when budget is no object?
Immersive - For me, that means peeling away layers of a place — indulging in its finest luxuries, but also tracing the cultural, historical, and human stories that make its essence timeless.
Q. What do you enjoy the most about being a travel vlogger? What I love most is capturing the soul of a place and letting people experience it through my lens. Like walking through Jerusalem, where every stone whispers history. Or tasting night market delights in Taiwan, where food feels like a celebration. And then there’s Budapest, with sunsets over the Danube that look almost unreal on camera. Sharing those moments and making viewers feel like they’re right there with me — that’s the magic.
Q. How do you balance wanderlust with eco-consciousness? I believe true luxury today must also be sustainable. I choose properties and airlines that are genuinely committed to reducing their footprint, prefer experiences that give back to local communities, and travel slower — spending more time in fewer destinations. It’s also about mindful indulgence: savouring quality over quantity. That way, I not only collect memories but also ensure the places I love are preserved for future travellers as well.

You began your career as a dance instructor before stepping into films and the entertainment industry what was that turning point moment when you knew acting was your calling?
Dancing was the way I expressed myself—I felt most comfortable showing my emotions that way. So, I thought it would be easy to express on screen as well. I gave it a shot, and since then, I’ve been comfortable in front of the camera. My focus shifted to acting because dancing alone wasn’t paying enough, and I needed the financial stability that acting offered.
Your filmography shows a mix of commercial entertainers and experimental projects—what drives your choice of scripts?
I never really had the chance to pick and choose. I always needed to keep earning, so I took up all the work that came my way without much thought or discrimination.
Being in the public eye can be both rewarding and challenging. How do you balance personal life with the pressures of fame?
I don’t feel the pressure. Acting and life have both taught me that the inner world of a human being is most important. We can’t get carried away with what people think or say. I learned this the hard way—by once caring too much about negativity and hatred.
You’re often admired for your style—how much of it reflects your true personality versus what we see on red carpets?
I like to dress up every day. I live life as if it were a movie—I must always be ready. My life also revolves a lot around the gym and travel, and I love dressing for every occasion completely and wholeheartedly
As someone with strong ties to Hyderabad, how does the city influence your life and work?
Hyderabad is my home ground—I love it and I miss it whenever I’m away. I’ve never had that feeling for any other city or place, and I know I’ll always come back home
You have participated in different reality shows. How was the experience? I love reality shows. Even though they have affected my life negatively at times, they ultimately made me a more positive person as a byproduct. I don’t think there’s a better way to self-examine and self-observe. Not everyone gets these kinds of opportunities.
What’s the most valuable lesson the entertainment industry has taught you so far?
That your success and your happiness don’t depend on each other. Working is beautiful even without validation—you never stop growing when you pursue what you love doing.
What can fans look forward to from you in the coming year—both on-screen and off-screen?
I’m very excited about so many things—launching a cool clothing brand, a couple of film releases, my talk show, and I’m also planning to direct a music video. I’m just never free—and that’s exactly how I like it

The kaftan’s earliest records trace back to Mesopotamia and the Ottoman Empire, where it was worn by sultans, viziers, and nobility. Each garment was more than fabric, it was a symbol of rank, often woven in silk, embroidered with gold, and lined with fur. The richness of the cloth and patterns revealed one’s place in the hierarchy
By the 16th and 17th centuries, In Hyderabad’s princely courts under the Asaf Jahi Nizams, flowing robes and layered tunics became symbols of aristocratic refinement, visual cousins of the kaftan. Fast forward to the 1960s–70s, and the kaftan resurfaced in the West as part of the bohemian revolution. Worn by icons like Elizabeth Taylor, Talitha Getty, and Diana Vreeland, it became the glamorous answer to “free love” fashion Luxury houses from Yves Saint Laurent to Halston cemented it as resort wear for the jet set.
Today, designers reinterpret the kaftan for runways and streets alike. From embroidered couture versions at Dior and Oscar de la Renta to breezy cotton numbers in Goa flea markets, the kaftan remains a garment of the world.
Hyderabad’s Love Affair with the Kaftan
Why Hyderabad? The answer lies in the city’s soul. The kaftan thrives in Hyderabad because it speaks to both its heritage of opulence and its modern desire for comfort.
Climate Fit: With long, humid summers, the kaftan offers breathable chicness.
Cultural Fit: A city that straddles Islamic modesty and cosmopolitan glamour finds the kaftan an easy balance between covered and contemporary.
Lifestyle Fit: From brunches in Jubilee Hills to family gatherings in Banjara Hills, it adapts across social settings.
Local boutiques in Jubilee Hills and Banjara Hills stock both luxury imports and designer interpretations. At Charminar’s Laad Bazaar, jewel-toned fabrics still echo the kaftans of centuries ago, while upscale stores reinterpret them with sequins, belts, and fusion cuts
Voices of Style
Hyderabad’s creative community has been quick to fold kaftans into their wardrobes, not as fleeting fashion but as an expression of identity
Mohini Mohandas (Momo), creative force behind The Binge Journal:
“I love wearing clothes that let me feel unbound and wholly myself Kaftans are both graceful and effortless, making them the perfect choice for a summer day out.”
Gulnar Virk, entrepreneur and founder of HashTag Marketing:
“Kaftans are my ultimate style staple they let me feel relaxed yet put-together I love how effortlessly they flow, keeping me chic and comfortable whether I’m at home or stepping out.”
Janvi, budding influencer:
“I like kaftans because they suit almost all body shapes and can even be worn across genders. A perfect blend of dressy and casual, they elevate anyone’s personal style.”
Together, these voices point to why Hyderabad’s fashion crowd is choosing kaftans not as occasional wear, but as everyday statements.
Bollywood’s Obsession, Global Inspiration
On the big screen and beyond, Bollywood has turned the kaftan into a cultural phenomenon. Kareena Kapoor Khan has practically rebranded herself as the “Kaftan Queen,” especially during her post-pregnancy era
Sonam Kapoor Ahuja champions couture kaftans, often styled by Anamika Khanna and Abu JaniSandeep Khosla.
Vacation diaries of Alia Bhatt and Deepika Padukone show kaftans as both beachwear and luxury travel staples.
But India isn’t alone The global luxury world consistently revisits the silhouette YSL in Marrakech celebrated kaftans as the ultimate North African inspiration. Oscar de la Renta and Dior reinvent them for resort collections. At the same time, slow-fashion brands champion kaftans as ecoconscious, size-inclusive, and timeless
Why the Kaftan Works Today
Versatility: Lounge wear, evening wear, festive wear one garment that adapts.
Inclusivity: Flattering across sizes, ages, and genders
Sustainability: Minimal tailoring waste, often made from handloom fabrics.
Post-Pandemic Comfort: With the world shifting to WFH wardrobes, the kaftan became a new-age uniform easy enough for Zoom, stylish enough for stepping out.
How can you style the already effortless kaftan?
Cinch It: Add a belt to create shape for formal dinners.
Stack It: Layer with chunky silver or statement earrings for an Indo-boho look.
Modern Minimalist: Pair with sleek sandals and let the silhouette shine
Festive Luxe: Embroidered or sequined kaftans double up as occasion wear
5 Hyderabad Stores to Explore: Anonym (Jubilee Hills), Elahe, Ogaan, Good Earth, and Charminar bazaars for fabric shopping.
The kaftan is more than a garment; it is a philosophy stitched into fabric It represents freedom without compromise, comfort without the loss of elegance, and heritage without the weight of rigidity. It has crossed deserts and oceans, survived centuries of changing tastes, and reinvented itself in palaces, bazaars, and runways Few silhouettes in fashion can claim such resilience the kaftan does so with ease, almost as if it were destined to outlive trends.
In Hyderabad, the kaftan’s story feels especially poetic A city that has always lived at the crossroads of tradition and modernity, luxury and accessibility, royalty and democracy, finds in the kaftan its perfect mirror. It can be worn to a family daawat, a café in Jubilee Hills, or on a vacation flight out of RGIA and in every setting, it holds its own That fluidity is what makes it timeless
Globally, too, the kaftan carries a certain universality It allows the wearer to step out of categories: neither entirely eastern nor western, neither strictly formal nor casual, neither gendered nor exclusive It welcomes everyone into its folds In an industry that often obsesses over limitations, the kaftan quietly reminds us that the best fashion dissolves them.
So whether it drapes an Ottoman Sultan, a Nizam of Hyderabad, a Bollywood starlet, or a young entrepreneur heading out for Sunday brunch, the kaftan continues its eternal reign It proves that style doesn’t need to be loud to be powerful, nor complicated to be iconic. If fashion had a word for freedom, it would still be and perhaps will always be kaftan.
From Tokyo Streets to LA Runways: Labubu’s Cross-Cultural Craze
CuddleMe,LoveMe!
Step aside, logo bags and diamond baubles the accessory every trendsetter wants now is a plush, wide-grinned mischief-maker named Labubu. In 2025, Labubu has charged into the global fashion conversation with the force of street style, social media virality, and pure Gen Z imagination If you haven’t seen it dangling from a Balenciaga moto bag or starring in a celebrity self-care snap, consider this your wake-up call: Labubu isn’t just the hottest toy of the year, but a cultural movement redefining luxury, status, and what it means to express yourself boldly. Hong Kong artist Kasing Lung first dreamed up Labubu as part of Pop Mart’s “Monster” collection a playful ode to mischief and whimsy inspired by Nordic fairy tales. With its fuzzy fur, oversized toothy smile, and slightly rebellious air, Labubu was designed to charm some and challenge others. What started as a cult collectible for Asian connoisseurs soon gained momentum, especially after TikTok unboxings and Instagram feeds sparked global curiosity. In just months, the hashtag #Labubu surged past millions of views, cementing the character as a fresh-faced ticket into Gen Z’s new temple of status and personal style More than just an object, owning a Labubu is entry into a circle of tastemakers, artists, and global luxury leaders. Its appeal is rooted in contradiction: adorable yet edgy, familiar yet fantastical. Labubu resonates with the elite youth who want their accessories not just to signal taste, but to spark conversation, connection, and belonging.

Celebrities Can’t Get Enough of Labubu
Labubu’s is everywhere, the maniac goes viral with the celebrities making it a fashion statement The real fashion conquest began when A-list talent from LA to Mumbai started snapping up the dolls and weaving them into their signature looks. K-pop idols most notably BLACKPINK’s Lisa, BTS’s V, and multi-genre icons like Dua Lipa were early adopters Lisa’s viral snap with Labubu, reinterpreted in a kaleidoscope of street and luxury settings, transformed the plush from novelty to “It” item overnight. Lady Gaga, Rihanna, and even Kim Kardashian jumped into the frenzy, each leveraging Labubu’s playful visual punch to refresh their feed with the year’s most irreverent mascot Indian celebrities have been equally enchanted.
Ananya Panday paired her pastel Labubu with denim-on-denim, Pashmina Roshan styled it as a “desk buddy,” and Twinkle Khanna mused about collecting every blind-box variation. The plush has morphed from a desk companion to a bona fide bag charm, photobombing every paparazzi shot with whiskered, viral energy For Gen Z, it’s not just about owning a Labubu it’s about curating a personal mythology where luxury and play collide.
When Brands Meet Labubu: The Collab Frenzy
Labubu’s the market’s new mascot, inducing that viral energy that’s irresistible for brands hungry for authentic hype. Coca-Cola kicked off the global rush with a holiday Labubu collection complete with snow-themed packaging and social filters. Sportswear titans Nike and Adidas followed suit, dropping limited sneakers and apparel featuring Labubu motifs, instantly selling out and turning the plush into a “street cred” asset. These partnerships are less about product placement and more about embedding Labubu into lifestyle ecosystems where FOMO, nostalgia, and digital storytelling drive the conversation. Pop Mart itself is riding the moment, pushing Labubu collaborations with Milan’s Pronounce and Tokyo’s Ambush, where the mascot becomes both muse and medium for viral capsule launches.
Indian boutique labels, sneaker drops, and even homegrown beverage brands have all joined the parade, proving Labubu’s influence is as cross-cultural as it is irresistible. As a symbol of playful luxury, Labubu isn’t just a plush toy it’s the new emblem of what luxury can mean. For Gen Z and the rising class of ultra-elite youth, status is no longer just about old-school heritage or quiet restraint
Labubu is loud, whimsical, and above all, personal. It’s the mascot of a generation who want their fashion to rebel, connect, and spark joy proof that the coolest things in the world today don’t just come with a designer label, but with a grin and a story
The Future of Viral Luxury
Labubu stands as more than a plush or a trend; it is a symbol of the generational shift toward playful self-expression and viral luxury This fuzzy mischief-maker, championed by icons and adored by fashion’s elite, has rewritten the rules of status symbols for Gen Z worldwide. As more brands and celebrities join the Labubu wave, the message is clear: to be truly fashion-forward in 2025, you need more than designer logos you need a spirit, a story, and a bold willingness to embrace the joy of style. Labubu delivers it all, grinning mischievously from the center of today's most exclusive fashion conversations
HYDERABAD HUSTLE: INSIDE
THE CITY’S STARTUP CULTURE
A City in Transition
Hyderabad has always been a city of dualities The Charminar still casts its shadow over bustling bazaars, while just 20 minutes away, glass-fronted IT parks hum with 24/7 energy. On one end, pearls, Irani chai, and old-world tehzeeb; on the other, blockchain, cloud kitchens, and venture capital Somewhere between the two, a new identity is forming, Hyderabad as India’s next startup capital.
In the last five years, the city has quietly but powerfully placed itself on the map as more than just a tech outsourcing hub. Today, Hyderabad is the playground where innovation meets lifestyle, where entrepreneurs aren’t just coding apps but also curating experiences, building brands, and reshaping culture
By Ridhima Bhangay
The Rise of the Ecosystem
While Bengaluru has long been crowned India’s “Silicon Valley,” Hyderabad is fast becoming its confident younger cousin, less crowded, more collaborative, and surprisingly cosmopolitan. At the heart of this rise is T-Hub, India’s largest startup incubator, nestled in the city’s HITEC district With its sprawling glass-and-steel campus, T-Hub is more than just an office space it’s a community where ambitious founders trade pitches over coffee, investors drop in for mentorship, and late-night hackathons buzz with energy
Add to that We-Hub, India’s first government-led incubator for women entrepreneurs, and TSIC (Telangana State Innovation Cell), and you get a glimpse of the state’s commitment to making innovation mainstream The government here hasn’t just opened doors for startups; it has rolled out the red carpet, with policies, infrastructure, and networks that make Hyderabad a fertile ground for risk-takers.
The Lifestyle of Innovation
What sets Hyderabad apart is how seamlessly its startup scene blends into its cultural lifestyle. Mornings often begin with entrepreneurs powering through runs around KBR Park or yoga sessions at boutique studios, followed by meetings over Irani chai at Nimrah or oat lattes at Third Wave Coffee Workdays stretch into evenings filled with brainstorming at coworking hubs like Collab House, and often end at intimate art shows, stand-up gigs, or cocktail tastings across Jubilee Hills. The city’s affordability also gives it an edge Unlike Mumbai, where high rents strangle bootstrapped dreams, or Bengaluru, where traffic eats into productivity, Hyderabad offers space both literal and mental. Here, a founder can afford a decent apartment, a stylish workspace, and still have enough bandwidth to live
In short, the hustle feels lighter, smarter, and more sustainable.
Why Hyderabad, Why Now?
The city’s rise in the startup landscape isn’t just about timing; it’s intention. Telangana’s state government has made entrepreneurship part of its DNA, courting investors, global accelerators, and corporates to plug into the ecosystem Hyderabad’s strategic location, diverse talent pool, and thriving student population (from IIT Hyderabad to ISB) only add to the mix.
And let’s not forget the global giants. Google, Microsoft, Amazon, and Apple all have massive campuses here Their presence not only lends credibility but also spins off a workforce hungry to create something of their own. The result? A pipeline of dreamers turning into doers.
The Road Ahead
Of course, the road is not without bumps Hyderabad still battles the perception of being “IT first, creative later.” It has fewer unicorns compared to Bengaluru or Delhi, and its ecosystem is still maturing. But perhaps that’s its charm. It’s raw, unpolished, and still small enough that every success story feels personal, every milestone celebrated across the community
The city doesn’t want to replicate Bengaluru’s chaos or Mumbai’s glamour. It’s carving a different kind of narrative: measured ambition, rooted creativity, and a lifestyle that celebrates both hustle and heritage.
Hyderabad today isn’t just a city of pearls, biryani, and palaces; it’s a city of possibility Between the heritage corridors of Charminar and the glass towers of HITEC, a new rhythm is taking shape, one that hums with ideas, ambition, and style. Its founders are not only raising capital but also raising the bar for what it means to live, work, and create in India
This is Hyderabad’s hustle: part boardroom, part café table, part rooftop soirée A blend of silk and silicon, where the young and restless are not waiting for opportunities, they’re building them, often with a coffee in one hand and a pitch deck in the other. And if the current energy is anything to go by, Hyderabad is no longer a city catching up It is a city rewriting the rules one startup, one story, one sleepless night at a time.

Announced in mid-August, the launch signals Aryan Khan’s formal entry into business with SRK’s charisma and Kamath’s fintech clout behind him. Radico Khaitan, already known for Magic Moments, is betting big on tequila as India’s next premium obsession. Instagram went wild on August 14 when the trio shared celebratory posts, and by August 18 industry chatter confirmed tequila as D’YAVOL’s flagship.

Baseball heated up as the Texas Rangers swept the Guardians to return to .500, the Yankees avoided a sweep against the Rockies with home runs from Jazz Chisholm Jr. and Trent Grisham, and the NL West grew tighter as the Dodgers and Padres fought for the top spot. Shohei Ohtani continued his MVP-caliber run with his 45th home run.
Tennis history was made when Alexandra “Alex” Eala defeated World No. 14 Clara Tauson at the US Open, becoming the first Filipino player to win a Grand Slam main draw match in New York.
Football fans got their share of drama too, with Everton’s clash against Brighton on August 24 keeping Premier League watchers glued.
