Pennsylvania FFA association. Selection to receive a Keystone Degree is based on a student’s involvement in FFA and completion of an approved supervised agricultural experience project outside the classroom. Also at the Pennsylvania Farm Show, eight first-year FFA students from Elizabethtown Area High School received their
FFA jacket through the Pennsylvania FFA Alumni Jacket Program. Earning jackets were Calista Bryant, Matty ColvinKeefer, Mya Ellis, Austin Howes, Faith Musser, Vivienne Nolt, Jackson Umbrell, and Brianna Wolfe. To qualify, the members had to complete an application and write an essay answering the question “What does the FFA jacket mean to
me?” The blue corduroy jacket allows students to take part in numerous FFA programs. FFA is dedicated to making a positive difference in students’ lives by developing their potential for leadership, personal growth, and career success through agricultural education. Mark Anderson, agricultural science teacher at the high school, is the club adviser.
