Dr. Gabriel Carabello is a board-certified vascular surgeon with more than 30 years of experience caring for patients with vascular health issues. Born and raised in Los Angeles, California, he has spent the majority of his career serving patients in that region, as well as working extensively in Arizona and Florida. His practice has centered on treating conditions such as carotid artery disease, abdominal aortic aneurysms, and peripheral vascular disease through a consistent, results-driven approach. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Loyola Marymount University in 1985 before going on to complete his medical degree at the UCLA School of Medicine in 1989. His post-graduate training began at King-Drew Medical Center, where he completed his Internship and General Surgery Residency by 1995. He further advanced his expertise with a Trauma/Critical Care Fellowship in 1996 and a Vascular Surgery Fellowship at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) in 1997. In 2008, he completed a Mini Fellowship in Endovascular Surgery at New York Presbyterian Hospital. Over the years, he has worked in various healthcare settings, frequently taking on both full-time and temporary roles in hospitals and clinics. His clinical service has included time at Yuma Regional Medical Center, HCA Florida Bayonet Point Hospital, and several practices in Los Angeles. Gabriel Carabello, MD, has held surgical privileges at multiple facilities, with a strong focus on vascular access procedures and minimally invasive techniques. Between 1997 and 1999, he also contributed to academic medicine by serving as an Assistant Professor of Surgery. He is licensed to practice in several states and maintains board certifications in General and Vascular Surgery. He is also trained in life support and moderate sedation, and his fluency in English and Spanish has allowed him to provide care to a broader patient population.
