Issue 40 | Celebrating!
As Compass publishes its 40th Issue, I truly am reflecting on the amazing journey of sharing Arts, Culture + Wellness on Vancouver Island. Compass Magazine is invested in sharing the direction of local communities and people, through dialogue focused on successes and challenges. This publication started out as a community engagement piece for the footprint of Campbellton, the historic village of Campbell River, in 2013, with the concept of encouraging Campbell River to embrace its historic roots. So many people have shared stories with us, written for the publication and been featured for the greater good of community. With a deep, heartfelt thank you, to all those who have and keep inspiring Compass to move forward to share the next level of in-community conversations and highlight the Island’s most amazing talent. We are celebrating this issue by sharing some incredible milestones of local organizations who continue to give back to community! Gilakas'la, Emote, Marsii!
