Internships/Working Abroad Whether or not you plan to spend a semester or longer studying abroad, the staff in the International and Career Centers can help you prepare, search for and secure an international internship or co-op experience. Some of these positions are paid, while others offer students academic credit. If you plan to study abroad: While you are abroad at a partner institution, you are welcome to apply for internships and co-ops that will occur after your study abroad semester. Many of our partners have career centers that you can work with to obtain work experience after study. While not all partners offer these opportunities, you can identify universities that do with help from the International Center staff and our website at clarkson.edu/global. If you do NOT plan to study abroad: The International Center works with third-party affiliates to organize professional internship opportunities in major cities around the globe. They will match your interests to employers’ needs to provide the best possible experience.
