What inspired you to specialize in Dark Realism tattooing, and how did you develop your unique style?
My dark realism style developed naturally over time Giving myself freedom in interpreting each subject, I gradually focused on conveying emotion, through the gaze, the play of light and shadow, and the exploration of inner fears and subtle sensations I draw inspiration not only from tattooing, but also from photography, music, and painting, which shape my visual language and bring a fine-art sensibility to my work Everyday life experiences, encounters, and quiet moments outside of art also inspires me and often becomes the starting point for my creative process

What challenges have you faced as an artist working between Vicenza and around Europe, and how have these experiences influenced your art?
I find it extremely valuable and inspiring to stay dynamic by traveling between different countries, having the opportunity to learn and grow while working alongside highly skilled artists In Northern Europe, it's often easier to find a more open-minded approach, as well as clients experienced and willing to embrace challenging tattoos like mine I love my hometown, but staying there all the time would feel limiting and wouldn't allow me to grow as an artist.

Can you share the creative process behind one of your most memorable tattoo pieces? What emotions or stories do you aim to convey through your dark realism work?
The creative process can vary every time It may begin with the client's personal story, with the specific body part I'm tattooing, therefore the space and shape I have to work with, or with emotions I've experienced firsthand The final result is always a blend of these three elements
There is, however, a fourth variable: the observer's final interpretation It's like seasoning a dish or the way it is experienced once it's placed on the table. I always leave room for this last ingredient.
Some people see pain in my work, others see rebirth or liberation, and this is unconsciously linked to what one chooses to see. Because, just like in real life, reality is not objective. It is always filtered through our own perception. The same situation can drag you into suffering or set you free. The choice is ours. Even when we believe it isn't, we still hold that power. This is reality This is my dark realism
How do you balance technical precision with artistic expression when working on such detailed and intricate designs?
Technical precision and artistic expression often exist in tension, especially within realism Finding the right balance isn't easy, focusing too much on one can come at the expense of the other, and navigating this contrast is a core part of my process
Every piece requires extensive planning, and each session demands a high level of both physical and mental energy I design my work directly on the body whenever possible, ensuring that the image moves naturally with the person Working on a larger scale for certain details allows the tattoo to be read both from a distance and up close, and, most importantly, to age well over time
