âI really appreciate Butlerâs emphasis on undergraduate research. Lectures canât ever teach the exact process of solving a problem that appears in researchâitâs important to have hands-on work, too.â

âMy biggest piece of advice to prospective students would be to put in the extra effort to build connections with your classmates and your professors. Because of Butlerâs small size and attentive faculty, you can build great relationships that help you gain access to research, academic, and internship opportunities. Make the most of your time here!â

ADVISORS. MENTORS. FRIENDS.
At Butler, your professors wonât just know your name. Theyâll probably know your hometown, your go-to campus study spot, and your favorite pizza topping. Weâre talking about a student-to-faculty ratio of 11-to-1, meaning your professors will get plenty of chances to find out what drives you. This all starts from day one at Butler.
âMy relationship with my faculty mentor, Dr. McCormick, has been super individualized. Iâm treated as an individual student with my own dreams, goals, and aspirations. Iâve not been pushed down a path that every student studying business should go down. Iâve been given the tools and resources to go down my own path, while knowing that support is still there if I need anything.
Lauryn Lintner International Business and Marketing
