A Bethel Island family is safe after a fire destroyed part of their mobile home Tuesday night. ConFire responded to a call of a single-family residential fire at about 6 p.m. Tuesday on Porter Circle in the Willows at Bethel Island mobile home park. When ConFire arrived, they saw smoke and flames coming out of the front of the mobile home. According to ConFire public information officer Capt. Victor Daniel, Engine 95’s quick response was the reason the fire didn’t spread to the nearby homes, nor was anyone seriously injured in the fire. “Luckily, nobody was inside at the time (when firefighters arrived),” Daniel said. “It looked like
