Bridget and Andy were married at St George’s Restaurant in Havelock North on 1 March 2025.
Andy, a Wellingtonian and Bridget, a Cantabrian, met at University in Dunedin as they happened to stay at the same hall of residence They were friends before their relationship developed into something special
Currently the couple live and work in London where Bridget is a public health doctor and Andy is a lawyer They travelled quite some distance to share their wedding with 80 friends and relatives!
There were several reasons they chose Hawke’s Bay for their wedding Andy’s parents both grew up in Hawke’s Bay and had recently returned to live here.
“His Gran (who just turned 100!) also lives in Hawke’s
Bay and I worked in Hawke’s Bay for a year recently, so we spent many weekends enjoying the sunshine and lovely beaches, so Hawke’s Bay felt like the right choice for us, ” Bridget says
“We then started looking at venues and both independently chose St George’s as our favourite, so the choice was made!”
The couple didn’t have a specific theme for the wedding and organised everything themselves
“We did it all ourselves, in hindsight I don’t think I would sign up to plan a wedding from the opposite side of the world again!”
They did have help on the day from Aunty Ailsa and Cousin Abby who set up everything on the day “My Gran helped us to do the bridesmaids bouquets and table flowers We hosted a brunch at Andy’s parents’ house on the Sunday after the wedding ”
Bridget’s dress was custom made in Olana, a boutique
bridal business in Yorkshire in England The celebrant was Hawke’s Bay based Olivia Nysse, and the photographs were taken by Eva Bradley After dinner they were entertained by Jake from DJ4 you
The meal was plated, with bread to start and cake and berries for dessert Guests nibbled on a grazing board during the cocktail hour and the main meal started with a selection of canapes Guests were offered beef, market fish or butternut gnocchi with accompaniments
Guests were spoilt for choice when it came to cake as they had three choices from Bellatino’s, including a
gluten free option
Bridget’s response when asked about the highlights of the day was “We were just excited to get married and see all our friends and family Getting ready with the bridesmaids and my mum was really lovely I also enjoyed going for sunset photos with Eva ”
Their approach to the day was to try and not worry about little details, but to enjoy themselves and have fun.
“Hawke’s Bay is an amazing place to get married, we really enjoyed working with Eva and would recommend her to anyone ”
Bridal fashions change quickl and right now the trends for 2026 re embracing a bold blend of historic l romance and modern inno ation, offering brides a wide spectrum of st les to e press their indi idualit A feature making big comeback is the Basque waist that elongates the torso with a -shaped bodice
replacing the oversized styles of previous years, offering a more refined and ethereal feel Meanwhile, accessories like bridal scarves and trains are adding drama and elegance: trains are often detachable for a second-look transformation during the reception
cocktail outfits and maxi dresses for something just that little bit different. There are plenty of choices that are off-beat and not traditionally bridal
Colour is also stepping into the spotlight While white remains timeless, subtle pops of colour - especially soft blues, blushes, and golds - are being incorporated through embroidery, floral ppliqués, and even full go ns his trend allows brides to personalise their look hile maintaining a romantic aesthetic
Slee es are evolving too Long, sheer sleeves in delicate l ce or silk are
The process of choosing a dress often begins with considering the venue and season. A summer wedding in Hawke’s Bay might call for a lightweight, breathable fabric, while a winter ceremony in Queenstown could inspire a gown with long sleeves or layered textures Comfort is key, and many Kiwi brides prioritize ease of movement and wearability alongside aesthetics
A wedding dress needn’t be a traditional bridal style, colour or price Consider
Appointments at bridal boutiques typically involve trying on a variety of styles to discover what feels right Many brides are surprised by what they end up loving, so keeping an open mind is essential It’s also common to bring along close friends or family for support and honest feedback, making the experience both emotional and memorable

Bridesmaids’ outfits are all about individuality, comfort, and style that complements the overall wedding aesthetic.
As couples move away from rigid traditions, there’s a growing trend toward allowing bridesmaids to express their personalities through their attire while still maintaining a cohesive look
This shift has led to a rise in mismatched dresses, where each bridesmaid wears a different style or shade within a coordinated colour palette This approach not only flatters different body types but also allows each member of the bridal party to feel confident and comfortable
Floral prints are making a
strong comeback, especially for outdoor and vineyard weddings These dresses bring a fresh, romantic feel and work beautifully with our natural landscapes Neutral tones such as champagne, taupe, and soft blush continue to be favourites, offering timeless elegance and versatility
In terms of style, midi-length dresses are trending, offering a modern alternative to traditional floor-length gowns They’re practical and they suit both casual and formal settings Satin fabrics, oneshoulder designs, and square
necklines are also in vogue, adding a contemporary edge to bridal party fashion. For those embracing a more whimsical or feminine aesthetic, dresses with bows, ruffles, and flutter sleeves are a charming choice
At the outset the bride must be upfront about who pays for what and what, if anything, the bridesmaids will be expected to contribute Factor in dresses, shoes, underwear, hair styling and makeup
Don’t forget about lingerie to suit the dresses too For example, will they need strapless bras? Finally, shoes
and jewellery to match will put the gorgeous finishing touches to your bridesmaids.
Brides are also increasingly mindful of sustainability, opting for dresses that can be worn again or sourced from local designers who prioritise ethical production This not only supports local businesses but also ensures a more thoughtful and environmentally conscious celebration Ultimately, bridesmaids’ outfits reflect a balance of style, comfort, and individuality, perfectly suited to the relaxed yet refined spirit of Kiwi weddings

With so many moving parts when wedding planning, choosing your makeup artist and hairstylist is one of the most important No one wants to look back at wedding photos wondering, “what was I thinking?”
Here’s my pro advice when booking your hair and makeup vendors:
1 It’s not just about the makeup Your glam team sets the tone for your whole morning Choose someone who’s reviews and social media reflect their personality, energy and ability to keep things fun, calm and on time!
2 Think of trials as a consultation, not a dress rehearsal They’re a chance to piece together the look you ’ ve dreamt of, and to see what products and techniques your skin and
hair work well with, and most importantly, whether you vibe with the vendor Things always look even better on the day
3 Big bridal party? Different hair and makeup vendors take on varying sizes of bridal parties, but it often comes down to timing and what’s feasible without everyone being up at 4am! My advice is to lock in your primary artist and stylist, then trust their lead on whether more hands are needed It keeps the whole process simple, the service of a high quality, and the morning complication-free.
4 Spray tans are the unsung heroes of wedding days Even the most natural, barely-there glow is going to help even out the skin, hide redness, pre-existing tan lines and help make your dress really pop. Think of it as body makeup;
because why would the perfection stop at the neck?
5. Your vendor’s social media and website is their portfolio - shop from their feed before booking and pick out some looks you like as your trial inspo
6 The best artists aren’t just “good at makeup”they understand weddings. They can adjust your look for any weather, work well with photographers, can settle your nerves, handle last-minute changes and even keep your mother-inlaw busy Hair and makeup will be one of your smallest invoices, but they have one of the biggest impacts on your forever memories
Invest in someone who can help bring your vision to life and who wants the best for you on your very special day.

Fashion and grooming play a pivotal role in setting the tone for a wedding, especially for the groom and his attendants.
This day marks a significant milestone, and the way the groom and his party present themselves reflects not only personal style but also the formality and theme of the occasion From tailored suits to polished shoes, and from well-groomed hair to subtle accessories, every detail contributes to a
cohesive and memorable look
For the groom, the outfit should strike a balance between tradition and individuality Classic choices like a tuxedo or a well-fitted suit in navy, charcoal, or black remain timeless However, modern grooms are increasingly embracing personalized touches - think
velvet blazers, patterned ties, or suits in unconventional colours like forest green or burgundy The key is to ensure the outfit complements the wedding’s setting and season
A beach wedding might call for lighter fabrics like linen, while a winter ceremony could warrant wool or tweed Fit is paramount; a tailored suit not only enhances the groom ’ s silhouette but also exudes confidence and sophistication
Grooming is equally essential A fresh haircut a few days before the wedding ensures a clean look without appearing too sharp or recently cut Facial hair should be neatly trimmed or cleanshaven, depending on the groom ’ s usual style and the formality of the event Skincare should not be overlookedhydrated, clear skin adds to the overall polished appearance. A subtle fragrance can also leave a lasting impression, but it should be chosen carefully to avoid overpowering scents
The groom ’ s attendants - best man groomsmen, and possibly ushers, should complement the groom ’ s style without overshadowing it.
Their attire typically mirrors the grooms in colour and formality but may include slight variations to distinguish the groom For example, the groom might wear a waistcoat or a different tie to stand out Uniformity among attendants creates visual harmony in photos and during the ceremony but allowing everyone a touch of personal flair - such as unique cufflinks or socks - can add charm and personality
Coordination is crucial The groom and his attendants
should plan fittings well in advance to ensure consistency in style and proper tailoring Accessories like pocket squares, boutonnieres, and tie clips should be chosen to enhance the overall look without cluttering it Shoes should be clean, polished, and appropriate for the venue - leather oxfords for formal settings, loafers or brogues for more relaxed environments
Hair and grooming
outines should be synchronised.
Booking a group grooming session the morning of the wedding can be a great way to bond while ensuring everyone looks their best This might include hair styling, beard trims, or even a quick facial treatment It’s also wise to have grooming essentials on hand - combs, lint rollers, breath mints, and cologne for last-minute touch-ups
Ultimately, fashion and grooming for the groom and his attendants are about more than just appearance - they’re about feeling confident, comfortable, and ready to celebrate a momentous occasion
When thoughtfully planned and executed, these elements contribute to a cohesive aesthetic that enhances the wedding’s atmosphere and leaves a lasting impression on guests and photographs alike
Flowers play a central role in weddings, offering not only beauty but also a connection to the country’s rich natural landscape.
With its diverse climate and fertile soil, New Zealand produces a wide variety of blooms that are perfect for weddings throughout the year Popular choices include roses, peonies, dahlias, and hydrangeas, which are often selected for their lush appearance and romantic appeal
There are many aspects to consider when choosing your flowers including the overall wedding theme, the colour scheme, the season, the style of the bride’s dress and
Wedding cake trends are embracing bold creativity, nostalgic charm, and personalised artistry
This year, couples are moving beyond traditional tiered cakes to explore sculptural designs and unique shapes Think towering confections with asymmetrical layers, domeshaped masterpieces, and even flat, wide cakes that span across tables like edible installations These largeformat cakes are not just dessert - they’re centrepieces that reflect the couple’s personality and style Flavour profiles are also evolving, with mocha mousse and pistachio emerging as popular choices, alongside multicultural influences that
whether it’s a formal or informal celebration
Styles could range from classic, to wild or contemporary and there’s an amazing range of options when it comes to colour, shape and size. Contemporary bouquets vary tremendously although brides are tending to be a little different, playful even Bright colours are in, so are monochromatic tones, and mixtures of fresh and dried flowers Foraged flowers are also becoming increasingly popular
Seasonality is an important consideration when choosing wedding flowers Spring and summer weddings benefit from an abundance of fresh, vibrant blooms, while autumn and winter weddings often feature more textured arrangements with foliage, berries, and dried elements Local florists are skilled at creating bespoke arrangements that suit the season, venue, and couple’s personal style
Sustainability is also becoming a key factor in floral design Many couples are opting for locally grown, seasonal flowers to reduce their environmental impact Some florists even offer foam-free arrangements and reusable vessels, aligning with the growing trend toward ecoconscious weddings Dried flowers and preserved blooms are also popular for their longevity and unique aesthetic, often used in bouquets, table settings, and even wearable floral accessories
Ultimately, flowers at a wedding are more than just decoration - they’re a reflection of the couple’s story, the natural beauty of the land, and the artistry of local florists Whether understated or extravagant, floral arrangements help set the tone for a memorable and meaningful celebration
bring global flair to the dessert table Mille-feuille cakes, with their delicate layers of puff pastry and cream, are gaining traction for their romantic symbolism and interactive presentation, sometimes assembled live during the reception
Decorative elements are leaning into nostalgia and whimsy Buttercream piping popular in the 1950s and 1980s is making a comeback, often paired with vintage cake toppers and playful squiggle designs Cherries, berries, and even faux vegetables are being used to adorn cakes, adding texture and beauty Meanwhile, fondant draping mimics flowing fabric, giving cakes a soft, elegant look.
Interactive cake painting is another standout trend, inviting guests to contribute brushstrokes to a plain cake using edible colours, turning the dessert into a
collaborative art piece This reflects a broader movement toward hyper-personalisation, where every detail of the cake - from flavour to form - is tailored to the couple’s story Ultimately, wedding cakes are about more than just taste - they’re expressions of love, creativity, and celebration, designed to leave a lasting impression on everyone who sees, and eats, them
Popular wedding cake flavours reflect a mix of timeless classics and adventurous new combinations that cater to diverse palates and cultural influences Here are some of the top choices couples are loving this year: vanilla, chocolate, red velvet, lemon and berry, pistachio, black forest, tropical flavours and multicultural infusions

Choosing a photographer is one of the most important decisions to be made when planning a wedding and it can be the biggest investment. Leading Hawke’s Bay photographer EVA BRADLEY shares her experience
One thing I am told over and over again is how fast a wedding day goes by So many emotionally significant moments are happening in quick succession, and so it’s often not until you get your photos back that you even remember how many incredible things happened – both big and small
For that reason, photography is understandably a priority for most people planning a wedding So what are the
most important things to consider before booking someone?
1. FIND YOUR STYLE
Thanks to social media (especially Instagram), we ’ re now able to look at the very best wedding photography from around the world, virtually as it happens This has led to a melting pot of international influences and styles so make sure you choose a photographer who reflects the style that matters to you Are you a barefoot, boho bride or are you more
classic? Some photographers specialise in shooting candid, documentary style weddings while others shoot with more structure
2. FALL IN LOVE WITH THEIR WORK.
The best photographer for you is one whose work gives you an instant emotional reaction Fall in love with their style in the same way you fall in love with your dress.
3. LOOK AT LOTS OF PHOTOS
Don’t just be seduced by a photographer’s ‘Greatest Hits’ collection on Instagram Look at their website thoroughly and make sure the quality of their work is consistently high across just one day by asking to see one of their weddings in full, preferably at your venue Make sure the work you are looking at was shot at a real wedding rather than a styled shoot, because creativity under pressure in a real-life wedding environment
is what you need
4. CONSIDER YOUR BUDGET
Even though it’s important to have a budget, think hard about how you allocate it
Lots of aspects of the day will fade in your memory over time but you will be looking at your wedding photos for the rest of your life Typically a photographer’s price reflects their experience, reputation and creative skill (rather than how many hours they are shooting) If you have a fixed budget, you may be better off investing in one good photographer or videographer rather than splitting the budget between them and potentially being disappointed in the results of both
5. BOOK EARLY
Photographers and videographers are usually the next thing booked after the venue It's not uncommon for good ones to be booked more than a year in advance.
Tucked away in the picturesque Rissington countryside, Omatua is the perfect wedding venue for a private country retreat Set on five acres overlooking the Mangaone River, Omatua can host up to 180 wedding guests and offers on-site accommodation for up to 47 making it ideal for a relaxed weekend-long celebration with family and friends Book your fairytale venue today omatua co nz or call Katie 021 277 3332
Wedding ring fashion in 2025 is all about individuality, symbolism, and sustainability, with both men and women embracing bold new styles that reflect personal values and aesthetics.
For women, traditional solitaire rings are giving way to more expressive designs Non-traditional eternity bands are especially popular, featuring mixed
gemstones like sapphires, emeralds, and salt-andpepper diamonds in unique cuts such as marquise, baguette, and oval These rings not only symbolize
eternal love but also allow for a personalized, artistic flair Curved or contoured bands are also trending, designed to fit snugly against engagement rings for a seamless, stacked look that’s both elegant and practical
Open rings are another standout trend, offering a minimalist yet modern aesthetic These bands feature intentional gaps or negative space, often adorned with gemstones at each end, symbolizing “eternity with room to grow ” This design is especially appealing to couples who value contemporary style and symbolism
For men, the evolution is just as dynamic Diamond adorned bands are gaining traction, reflecting a shift toward more expressive and meaningful jewellery Men are also gravitating toward alternative metals like titanium, tungsten, and black zirconium, which offer durability and a sleek, modern appearance Textured finishes
such as matte, hammered, or sandblasted are in demand, providing a handcrafted, rugged feel that contrasts beautifully with polished engagement rings
Lab-grown diamonds are becoming a staple for both genders, offering ethical and affordable alternatives to mined stones These diamonds are often set in bezel or flush settings, which are not only secure but also lend a clean, low-profile look that suits active lifestyles
Overall, 2025’s wedding ring trends celebrate creativity, sustainability, and the blending of tradition with innovation Whether through bold gemstones, unique settings, or alternative materials, couples are choosing rings that tell their story in a deeply personal way
Choosing a theme for your wedding is one of the most exciting parts of the planning process, as it helps shape the entire experience and gives your celebration a cohesive identity
The theme should reflect your personalities, your love story, and the kind of atmosphere you want to create for your guests. Start by thinking about what inspires you as a couple This could be a shared hobby, a favourite destination, a season, or even a particular era or aesthetic that resonates with you both Your theme should feel authentic and meaningful,
not just trendy or visually appealing
The venue you select can also influence your theme A rustic barn might naturally lend itself to a country or vintage theme, while a sleek urban loft could inspire a modern, minimalist approach Consider how the location’s architecture, surroundings, and ambiance can complement your vision Similarly, the time of year
plays a role in shaping your theme A spring wedding might call for soft pastels and floral motifs, while a winter celebration could embrace rich colours and cozy textures
Budget is another key factor Some themes may require more elaborate decorations, specialty rentals, or custom elements that can increase costs. It’s important to be realistic about what’s
achievable and prioritize the aspects that matter most to you Once you have a general idea, start gathering inspiration from wedding blogs, social media, and magazines, but be careful not to get overwhelmed by trends Focus on what feels right for you
Ultimately, your theme should guide your decisions on everything from invitations and attire to music and menu It’s not about rigid rules but about creating a consistent and memorable experience When chosen thoughtfully, your wedding theme will not only enhance the beauty of your day but also make it feel uniquely yours
Involving children in a wedding ceremony is particularly important for a child or children whose parent (s) are getting married or if they are children from previous relationships - it will make them feel very special being included in the ceremony
Children can be very cute but also unpredictable If they are allocated roles such as page boys, flower girls, ushers or ring bearers include them in rehearsals and make them feel important If they are a little older, they may be able to read a quote
If possible, assign someone to look after them so you are not worrying about what they are getting up to and have a few activities on hand for them to do – colouring in, puzzles and books or bring along their favourite toy and don’t forget snacks.
There’s plenty of choice when it comes to suitable clothing for boys and girls You can create a dress for your flower girl in the same
design as your dress or use the same fabric in a style suitable Alternatively keep the dress simple and match detail from your own gown such as a rosette or applique, crystal beads or pearly buttons to shimmer and shine
Dresses can be purchased at bridal and ballet shops or made at the same time as your own gown. For a less expensive option find a simple white or cream dress in children’s wear shops or department stores and trim with your own choice of embellishments To add colour, match a sash to your bridesmaid’s gowns or flowers
For the young men a smart shirt and pants, or in summer long shorts, are perfectly acceptable For more formal occasions add a bowtie and they’ll look adorable! Today there are plenty of very good clothing options available in all price brackets Most important is to make sure everyone, including the little ones, enjoys the day
Champagne towers are experiencing a revival, especially at weddings Champagne glasses are stacked in a pyramid like structure then when champagne is poured in to the top glass it overflows
and fills the glasses with a cascading effect Old fashioned by today’s standards, the coupe glass is the best to use as it has a wide rim and helps the champagne flow smoothly from one glass to another
A sturdy base is needed so that the successive layers can be added The concept can be used with a drink of your choice, not just champagne. Food trucks are also becoming popular at weddings as they are fun and add to the ambience of the day There are several food trucks in Hawke’s Bay that can be hired whether it’s a bar, pizza truck, burgers, kebabs, sandwiches or ice creams Loose hair for the bride makes a lovely change from the updo that’s been very
Wedding stationery trends are all about personalisation, storytelling, and a return to tactile elegance.
Couples are increasingly choosing designs that reflect their unique journey, with custom illustrations and handpainted elements becoming more popular than ever These artistic touches often depict meaningful locations, shared hobbies, or even beloved pets, turning invitations into cherished keepsakes
Alongside this, there's a noticeable shift toward bold colour palettes Rich jewel tones like emerald, sapphire, and burgundy are being paired with metallic accents to create a sense of drama and sophistication, moving away from the traditional
pastels that once dominated wedding suites.
Texture is also playing a major role in this year ’ s stationery choices Velvet ribbons, embossed lettering, and layered paper stocks add depth and luxury, inviting guests to experience the invitation as more than just a piece of paper The tactile nature of these materials enhances the emotional connection and sets the tone for the celebration
Meanwhile, vintageinspired designs are making a strong comeback Think ornate borders, calligraphy reminiscent of old-world romance, and floral patterns that echo Victorian
popular in the last few years
Loose hair can be more comfortable and natural and allows for more natural movement which can look beautiful in photos Loose hair can also soften the overall look and enhancing the brides natural beauty and it also requires less maintenance during the day
Wedding social media content creators are becoming increasingly popular This involves photos being taken behind the scenes and being posted to platforms like Instagram or TikTok A content creator is an addition to the traditional wedding photographer The benefit is quick turnaround so people can take a peek at the wedding without waiting for official photographs
elegance Thes elements are often modernis with contempo layouts and col schemes, creating a beautiful fusion of old and new
Sustainability continues to be a priority for many couples Eco-friendly options such as recycled paper, soybased inks, and invitations bearing seeds are gaining traction, allowing couples to celebrate responsibly without compromising on style. Digital stationery is also evolving, with interactive e-invites and wedding websites offering seamless communication
and RSVP tracking, especially for destination weddings or tech-savvy guests
A wedding invitation containing seeds is a unique and eco-friendly type of wedding stationery made from seed paper Instead of being discarded after the event, the invitation can be planted in soil, where it will decompose, and the embedded wildflower seeds or herbs will grow.
Family and friends often help but there are other alternatives for those wanting their day to run as smoothly as possible Wedding planners are becoming increasingly popular here and are often used overseas They are gaining traction as couples look for a perfect, stress free day without months of worrying
Wedding planners are involved in the planning from the outset and will prepare detailed timelines, negotiate and liaise with vendors, arrange site tours and tastings, look after design details, book transport and hotels, oversee rehearsals and so on Basically, they are

Music choices for modern weddings have evolved into a deeply personal and expressive part of the celebration, reflecting the couple’s unique tastes, cultural backgrounds, and the overall vibe they want to create.
While traditional wedding marches and classical pieces still hold a place in many ceremonies, today’s couples are increasingly opting for more contemporary and customised playlists that span genres and decades
Ceremony music often blends the old with the new Some couples choose acoustic versions of pop songs for the processional, creating a romantic yet modern atmosphere
Others might incorporate instrumental film scores or indie ballads that hold personal meaning The
goal is to set a tone that feels intimate and authentic, whether that’s through a string quartet playing a Coldplay song or a solo guitarist performing a heartfelt original
During the cocktail hour and dinner, playlists tend to be more relaxed and eclectic Jazz standards, soul classics, and mellow indie tracks are popular choices, offering a sophisticated backdrop that encourages conversation and mingling Some couples curate these playlists themselves, while others rely on DJs or live bands to read the room and adjust the
mood accordingly
When it comes to the reception, energy and inclusivity take centre stage. Couples often aim for a mix of crowd-pleasers that span generations - think Motown hits, 90s pop, and current chart-toppers - to ensure everyone from grandparents to college friends hits the dance floor. DJs are often favoured for their versatility and ability to seamlessly
transition between genres, though live bands remain a popular choice for their dynamic presence and ability to engage the crowd
Ultimately, modern wedding music is about storytelling and connection It’s not just background noise - it’s a curated soundtrack that reflects the couple’s journey, shared memories, and the joy of the moment

Gifting bridesmaids and groomsmen is a heartfelt tradition that allows couples to express gratitude for the love and support their closest friends and family have shown throughout the wedding journey.
The emphasis is on personalisation and practicality, with gifts that are both meaningful and useful beyond the wedding day
Bridesmaids often receive elegant, customized jewellery such as necklaces or bracelets engraved with initials, names, or the wedding date These pieces serve as lasting mementos and can be worn on the wedding day itself
Luxurious robes or pyjama sets in silk or satin are also popular, especially when monogrammed They add a touch of glamour to the getting-ready process and make for beautiful prewedding photos
Beauty and wellness gifts are another thoughtful option Bridesmaids appreciate curated boxes filled with skincare products, artisanal candles, bath salts, and teas - items that encourage relaxation and self-care For a more sentimental touch, personalised photo books or framed prints of shared memories can evoke deep emotions and celebrate longstanding friendships.
Groomsmen gifts tend to focus on style and function
Classic choices include engraved cufflinks, tie bars, or watches that can be worn during the ceremony and
beyond Leather accessories like wallets, toiletry bags, or passport holders are also favoured, especially when customized with initials or a meaningful message For those who enjoy a good drink, personalized whiskey glasses, flasks, or cocktail kits add a celebratory flair
Experience-based gifts are gaining popularity among both bridesmaids and groomsmen These might include tickets to a concert, a group activity, or a weekend getaway planned after the wedding Such gifts create lasting memories and show appreciation in a unique and personal way Ultimately, the best gifts are those chosen with care, reflecting the personalities and preferences of the people who have stood by your side during one of life’s most significant milestones
Even the smallest wedding requires careful planning to ensure everything runs like clockwork.
