As part of the selling process, we need to carry out anti-money laundering (AML) checks to conļ¬rm your identity and conļ¬rm ownership of the property. These checks are a legal requirement and are similar to the process of proving your identity when you open a new bank account. Weāll guide you through every step to make the process as smooth as possible.
We have partnered with Credas, who oļ¬er a best-in- class identity veriļ¬cation platform to ensure accuracy and security of your data. The slick, easy-to -use platform saves you time, allowing you to focus on what matters most. Administrative fee
We charge an administrative fee of Ā£62 50 plus VAT (Ā£75 including VAT) for carrying out these anti-money laundering checks. Thereās nothing to pay upfront, this fee will only be payable upon completion, and when we are entitled to our commission fee. We are committed to compliance, and this covers technological expenses, investment in staļ¬ training , document processing and checks, and additional insurance costs.
