HONGLU HAN

530 West 25th Street, New York, NY

At 67, Chinese-born artist Honglu Han enters the art world with a voice unlike any other. A former mechanical engineer and lifelong seeker of spiritual truth, Han blends his understanding of Buddhism, Daoism, Christianity, and quantum mechanics into a bold new oil painting style.

Han’s belief in an almighty Creator—whether God or Buddha—shaped his unique worldview: the universe is a harmonious blend of chaos and fractals, guided by an intelligence beyond human understanding.

During his PhD in Germany, Han turned his experience with anxiety into a source of inspiration, driving his passion for innovation and creativity in art.

In 2016, Han began painting while working in the U.S. His self-guided studies in art history and philosophy shaped a distinct visual language that, he believes, AI can never replicate.

For eight years, he painted in silence, misunderstood, yet unwavering.

In 2024, ten of his works debuted at Beijing’s 798 Art District, earning critical praise. Now, he seeks recognition in New York, the global heart of contemporary art.

Han’s goal is not profit but legacy: to complete 200 meaningful works and have his style remembered in art history as a human expression of spirit, science, and self.

I am an artist untouched by formal academic training, awakened solely by the spirit of the cosmos. My works are crystallizations of miracles—manifestations of chaotic light waves and particles—channeled through human consciousness, with my arm as the conduit of the Creator.

Each of my paintings is a condensed body of energy. They absorb photonic energy traveling through the universe, the energy of my spiritual consciousness during creation, and the life energy released through the motion of my body and brush. These energies converge, collide, and merge on the canvas, and according to the law of conservation of energy, they solidify into a tangible spiritual field.

This is the core characteristic of “Chaoticism Painting”: the work is not an image, but an energy field filled with the tremors of life and the resonance of the cosmos. These fields can attract the viewer’s consciousness, engage in real collisions and fusion with it, and awaken unknown vibrations deep within the soul.

Quantum mechanics has led me to believe that the essence of all things in the universe—and of human consciousness—is chaotic light or energy: not visible, not static, but eternally leaping, splitting, fluctuating, and fusing. Art is the imprint of consciousness left within this chaotic light. “Chaoticism Painting” is a direct response to this cosmic truth—a visual devotion to the ultimate belief that light is everything.

My work stands in total opposition to artificial intelligence. AI can imitate forms and simulate styles, but it cannot create fields of conscious energy, cannot carry the tremors of the human spirit, and cannot sense the unconscious resonance between humanity and the universe. Every one of my paintings is a fusion of spirit, body, and universal energy—a uniquely human act of creation that AI can never replace.

I reject themes, reject composition, reject all forms of prior control. I allow chaos to lead, let color flow, and allow the projections of consciousness to emerge on their own. The “human shadows” in my paintings are not depictions of figures, but imprints of consciousness—residual traces left by the leap of spirit into chaotic waves of light.

My works are dialogues between human spiritual consciousness and the essence of the universe—cracks of light between the as-yet-unawakened self and the cosmic source.

If you are willing to gaze into them, you will see within the paintings— the universe is breathing, and you are awakening.

I have named all my works Dialogue.
