Drawing on paper

Painting is not a matter of technique but of vision. What I seek is that little something extra that one could call soul. In the flow of my creativity, it is always the cerebral, thought-out, and intellectualized that ultimately materializes into a prodigious ballet of shapes and colors.
A single stroke thrown here and there on the canvas can make a painting beautiful. The style must be free of all technical constraints to capture the elusive song of the world, whether in the representation of a portrait or a bouquet...
I use oil paint on linen or cotton canvases, and almost all of my works were created on my old original easel, which my father gave me for my 21st birthday. While a spatula is sometimes necessary to create flat tints for backgrounds, such as the one in “Gershwin,” I most often have my soul at the tip of the brush.
