In 2014,
JD
launched
a
brand new store concept. The First store that truly benefited from the new look was JD Trafford Centre in Manchester. Additionally, a 360 footwear spinner as well as a barcode scanner were added to allow the user to browse instore and shop conveniently on the JD app.
It all started in 1981, in a single shop in Bury, England. For well over 30 years, JD has dominated the UK and Europe, bringing in the best of the best across all seasons for every type of branded sports and casual wear selections you can think of, from the likes of adidas, Nike, New Balance, Vans, and many others, including own-brand labels such as Pink Soda and Supply & Demand. JD, regarded as the most innovative visual merchandiser of sportswear, has always been turning heads with their massive collection of trainers, both fresh and most anticipated, catering to both casual fans and footwear aficionados across the world.
FIRST EVER IN ASIA 2016 was the opportune year that JD would enter the Asian market, and Malaysia was its first destination. The first store was opened in Sunway Pyramid. Later in the year, JD unveiled its flagship in Pavilion Elite, Kuala Lumpur.
We travelled 200 miles down south on 24 May 2018 to unveil the first ever JD store at Jurong Point, Singapore and now, we’ve come far and wide to proudly invite you to witness our flagship store in all its glory, right here at JD ION Orchard. This 7667 sqft flagship store is everything you had hoped for, and more. Expect only the best of the best to land at our flagship with more exclusives than ever before. Exclusive drops are branded with the Only at JD tag. Aptly named by the tag, these trainers are limited to release via JD stores and may vary in terms of range, exclusive colourways and materials.
The JD duffel bag has been a school yard status symbol since they first appeared in the 1990s. Prized for their unique look and durability, they have been the carrier bag of choice for the youth of the UK and Ireland till this day.
