PRESS INVITE Every Face Tells a Story EMPower Me: Journey to Resilience Exhibition Ethnically Diverse Youths Share Stories of Strength, Healing and Hope Through Art Many ethnically diverse young people in Hong Kong navigate challenges relating to identity and self-confidence. Yet their stories often remain untold. The EMPower Me: Journey to Resilience Exhibition organised by The Zubin Foundation invites the public to discover these stories through a powerful collection of artworks and personal reflections created by ethnically diverse youths. The exhibition is the culmination of EMPower Me Programme, supported by Link Asset Management Limited under the Link Together Initiatives, helping young people build confidence and resilience. Members of the media are invited to attend the Exhibition Opening Ceremony and meet participants, families and community members, while viewing the artworks and stories behind them.

The Creative Journey: “This is Me” Throughout the programme, participating youths took part in workshops and self-reflection activities designed to help them explore: • Who they are. • What experiences have shaped them. • The challenges they have overcome. • Their strengths, talents and aspirations. • Their relationship with family, culture and community. Participants were then invited to transform these reflections into creative artworks that visually represent their stories. Rather than focusing on challenges alone, the exhibition emphasises resilience, growth, self-expression and possibility.

The resulting artworks provide visitors with a unique opportunity to see Hong Kong through the eyes of young people whose voices are often underrepresented. B. Interactive Community Representation Wall: From Personal Stories to Collective Representation The Community Representation Wall extends this same invitation to exhibition visitors. Guests will be encouraged to contribute a simple self-portrait or drawing that represents who they are and how they see themselves within the community. As each person adds their contribution, the wall will gradually evolve into a collective portrait celebrating the diversity of the individuals who make up Hong Kong. While the exhibition showcases the stories of participating youths, the Representation Wall invites every visitor to engage in the same act of selfexpression.
