21 talented Hong Kong ethnic minorities ready to serve the government
On Thursday 20 June 2024, The Zubin Foundation unveiled the latest Diversity List, announcing a list of 21 selected talented ethnic minority public policy advisors.
Diversity List was launched in 2016 in order to increase the representation of ethnic minority voices in policy debates and discussions in government advisory boards and committees. Across five Diversity Lists, 2016 to 2020, The Zubin Foundation has put forward 122 individuals. Since 2016, 33 candidates from Diversity List 2016 – 2020 have been appointed to 73 HKSAR Government’s Advisory Statutory Body positions. This represents a selection rate of 27%.
