VALENTINE' S DAY FROM
Featuring special, one of a kind single origin chocolates for your special, one of a kind Valentine Single origin chocolate is made from cacao from a single region or country. Just like a wine from Bordeaux will taste different than one from Sicily, chocolates from different places taste different too. They may be made with different kinds of cacao, or be impacted by different soils, climates, or other environmental factors. Each difference contributes to the flavor of the chocolate. Try two or more side by side, and you’ll quickly notice differences: one may be bright and fruity, another dark and earthy, a third perhaps sweet and nutty. You really can taste the difference. Just for Valentine’s day, we’ve brought on a slew of special, single origin chocolates from around the globe. Discover way more chocolates at zingermans.com. But don’t sleep on it— quantities are limited and won’t last long.
Grocer’s Daughter Truffles Arriba Nacional is an heirloom cacao from Ecuador that’s celebrated for its fruity and floral flavors. Closer to home in Empire, Michigan, chocolatier Grocer’s Daughter sources this rare chocolate for their confections. Just for Valentine’s Day, we partnered with them on a collection of dark chocolate truffles stuffed with local Michigan ingredients. The first three flavors are Grocer’s Daughter favorites: herbal Rosemary, tart and fruity Hummingbird tea, and boozy Maple Bourbon. The remaining three flavors were created just for us: spicy Zingerman’s Spiced Pecan Gianduja, milk chocolate ganache blended with Zingerman’s High Flyer Coffee, and American Spoon Early Glow Strawberry Jam. Each brightly colored box has a dozen total truffles, two of each flavor—one each for you and your Valentine. P-GDC-TRF 12 truffles, boxed $60 FREE SHIPPING
Luisa Abram Wild Chocolate Confections Luisa Abram partners with local Brazilian communities to find and harvest cacao that grows wild along the lush banks of rivers in the Amazon rainforest. Luisa uses this one of a kind cacao to create exceptionally flavored confections, and for the first time, we’re offering two. First up is a box of caramelized cashews (grown in Brazil, naturally) that are enrobed in milk chocolate. Rich, sweet, and nutty, they’re easy to love. Second is a box of 70% dark chocolate covered cupuaçu (coo-puh-wah-soo), a fruit that’s a relative of cacao and the national fruit of Brazil. Each piece is about the size of a chocolate covered raisin and bursts with a tart, tropical flavor like pineapple and a chewy, gummy texture. P-LAH 120 g box cashews $20 P-LAC 120 g box cupuaçus $20 SHIPS FOR FLAT RATE
