Two Turtle Doves
Dillie Keane is the founding member of the legendary Fascinating Aïda and has played in pretty much every theatre in the country and beyond. Barb Jungr is known worldwide for her work on Bob Dylan and Leonard Cohen’s songs, and as a radical interpreter of the New American Songbook. They will be accompanied by the wonderful Michael Roulston on piano.
Featuring songs by Tom Waits, Ray Davies, the Chipmunks and Joni Mitchell, plus a hilarious take on The Twelve Days of Christmas, this is not standard Christmas fare. You'll want second helpings of this pudding for sure.

The Hare and the Tortoise

In one of the most famous of Aesop's fables, a very cheeky and boastful Hare gloats that he's the fastest creature in the whole wood. A tortoise sick of bickering on this topic volunteers to race him and Hare learns an important lesson.
Hannah's inventive and energetic retelling follows the Hare and the Tortoise through, over and round the forest obstacles and working together, your little ones learn that it isn't all about who wins the chase, slow and steady wins the race. Tortoise comes first, but so do we, as teamwork is worth more than first place to me.

Little Notes
Enjoy sharing live musical experiences with your child in these fun-filled music classes for babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers.
Designed and delivered by classically trained professional musician Lou Bradbury, Little Notes classes are full of creative play and bursting with live music.
Blending instruments, groovy new songs and superb classics, Little Notes sessions provide 40 magical minutes in your busy week. Using puppets, percussion and sensory objects, music is brought to life for your child as you explore sounds and rhythms together.

This year’s theme is Architecture, which is perfect as our year-long building works will have come to an end in the theatre’s 60th year.
Take a free tour and see what’s been going on in our fabulous remodelled front of house areas; find out about the ideas behind it all, including how you refurbish a Grade II listed building, how we are keeping access, sustainability and flood
proofing at the forefront of our planning, and possibly get a glimpse of what’s on stage in the Main House and Mill Studio.
