he education department has the biggest slice of pie when it comes to budgeting, but why are teachers still forced to bust their own pockets to deliver quality education?

Well, I guess all of it got lost, so they now have to pay the full cost. This is a persistent problem occurring in almost every department of governance in the Philippines. Money like a pie is flowing through different hands and is slowly cut in slices until its completely lost in the abyss of endless hunger of corruption. This leaves the actual teachers and those who are in need of that education with barely any. Educators are constantly

considered heroes for sacrificing their own pockets, which could possibly be for their families, but are being supplied for the betterment of education. Oftentimes, in order to provide the quality education their students deserve they’re forced to buy their own appliances and school supplies for their students. Moreover, the lack of transparency and accountability in the allocation of educational funds perpetuates a culture of corruption. It is crucial to address these systemic issues to ensure that the budget allocated to the education

sector truly benefits those who need it the most. A comprehensive and holistic approach is necessary to reform the education system in the Philippines. This includes not only increasing budget allocations but also implementing strict measures to curb corruption, streamlining bureaucratic processes, and fostering a culture of accountability. Only through such reforms can the education sector truly thrive and for quality education truly be attained with nothing lost more than its cost.
