Inspired by her big brother, who she calls both her favorite player and her biggest role model, Mia Kate says, “He teaches me stuff,” and that sibling support is helping her build confidence both on and offthefield.

When she’s not in the game, Mia Kate keeps busy with gymnastics and dance — always moving, learning, and having fun. For her, the best part of being on a team is simple and sweet: “Making new friends.”

After waiting patiently for her turn to play, Mia Kate Hager is now all in — bringing joy, energy, and heart to every inning. And for those watching, it’s clear this is just the beginning of somethingspecial.

With six years of experience and a love for the game that keeps growing, Parker Mattocks is a standout for the Winfield Little League Braves. Whether he’s pitching, locking down first base, or defending third, Parker brings energy, skill, and a love for baseball every time he takes the field.

Hailing from Winfield, West Virginia, Parker wears jersey #8 and plays with passion — inspired by one of his favorite athletes, Elly De La Cruz. “He plays hard and is a great player,” Parker says, and that same spirit shows in Parker’s own game.

Hailing from Scott Depot, West Virginia, Alexis wears #13 and proudly cheers for WVU. Her favorite player, Montana Phelps, inspires her to chase greatness on the field. Off the field, Alexis stays just as busy and creative — she’s involved in 4-H and enjoys crafting and drawing.

When it comes to her biggest role model, Alexis doesn’thavetolookfar.“My mom,” she says, “because she is always there for me.” That support shows in the way Alexis plays — with heart, confidence, and determination.

For Alexis Slate, the best part of being on a team is “being with my friends that are now family.” And as she continues to grow both as a player and a person, it’s clear she’s chasing her dreams — and catching them.

When he's not striking out batters, Briggsisshootinghoops,swimming, hanging out with his dog Kobe, or sharpening his math skills — proving he's got both athletic talent and brainpower. His favorite player is LaMelo Ball, and he roots for the Charlotte Hornets with serious fan pride.

What does Briggs love most about being part of a team? “Hanging out with my friends and playing on the playground after the games,” he says — a perfect reminder that youth sports are as much about fun and friendship as they are about competition.

Briggs’s biggest role model is his dad — “because he is my favorite person,” he shares. That admiration and support shine through in everything he does, both on and off thefield.

With a strong arm, a strong support system, and an even stronger drive to succeed, Briggs White is just getting started — and there’s no telling how far that fire in him will go.

Lilly Heflin is bringing energy, effort, and excitement to the field as a proud member of the Hurricane Little League Royal Baddies. Wearing #13 and holding down the outfield or second base, Lilly plays with heart and a hunger to improve every time she steps onto the diamond.

From Hurricane, West Virginia, Lilly has been playing for just two years — but it didn’t take long for her to fall in love with the sport. What started as a desire to try something new has grown into a true passion. This season, she reached a huge milestone: her very first RBI — a moment she’ll always remember.
