POCA DOTS | #11 | WIDE RECEIVER
For Bryce Martin, football isn’t just a game — it’s a lifelong passion. At only 11 years old, Bryce has already spent more than a decade honing his skills and building his love for the sport. As a wide receiver for the Poca Dots, Bryce wears number 11 and brings speed, focus, and dedication to every play.
This season, one moment stood out above the rest: beating Buffalo. The win was more than just a score — it was a reminder of how far Bryce and his team have come through hard work and teamwork. “We’re all family,” Bryce says about his teammates. “That’s the best part of being on a team.”
Inspired by his dad, who introduced him to the game, Bryce’s passion for football has grown year after year. He looks up to Tavon Austin, admiring his agility and playmaking ability, and he cheers for his favorite team, Penn State, whenever they take the field.
Off the gridiron, Bryce has big dreams — he hopes to one day become a state police officer, showing that his determination and sense of purpose go far beyond sports.

When asked who his biggest role model is, Bryce doesn’t hesitate: “My dad. He’s always been there for me.” That support has shaped him both as an athlete and as a person.
And his dad’s simple, heartfelt message says it all: “I love you.”
With his work ethic, loyalty, and drive to succeed, Bryce Martin is a player who leads by example — proving that family, effort, and heart are what make a true champion.

NITRO YOUTH FOOTBALL LEAGUE — NITRO WILDCATS | #13 | QUARTERBACK
Determined, disciplined, and fearless — Aubree Meadows has proven that hard work and heart can turn any goal into reality. Wearing number 13 for the Nitro Wildcats, Aubree proudly leads her team as quarterback (QB1), a title she earned through sheer effort and dedication.
This season’s defining moment came when Aubree won the starting quarterback job, achieving a goal she set for herself back in the spring. “I wanted to become QB1,” she says, “so I worked every day to get better.” Her focus and drive paid off, earning the respect of her coaches and teammates alike.
Aubree has been playing football for four seasons, and her inspiration came from her dad, who first introduced her to the game. Now, she’s following in his footsteps — and making her own mark. Her favorite player, Malachi Thompson, a talented local recruit from Nitro, continues to motivate her to aim higher.
Off the field, Aubree loves playing PlayStation 5, swimming, and riding bikes, balancing her competitive spirit with fun and family time. Her favorite team is WVU, and she brings that same Mountaineer-level energy to every practice and game.
When asked what the best part of being on a team is, Aubree answers confidently: “Being the leader.” Her ability to encourage others, stay calm under pressure, and lead by example makes her not just a player — but a role model.
Her biggest inspiration, though, isn’t on the field — it’s at home. “My mom is my role model,” Aubree says. “She’s the GOAT and puts the team — our family — before herself. She’s a leader in her own right.”
Her parents couldn’t be prouder, sharing this heartfelt message: “Aubs, you set the goal in the spring to become QB1, and you worked diligently to achieve it. Way to never give up and work hard. We love you, #13.”
With her leadership, perseverance, and passion for the game, Aubree Meadows is redefining what it means to be a true quarterback — both on and off the field.

Tough, determined, and full of energy, Parker Roberts is making his mark on the football field with the Nitro Wildcats. Wearing number 47, Parker plays wide receiver (WR) and is quickly becoming known for his fearless attitude and hard hits.
Now in his fourth year of football, Parker says he plays simply because he loves the sport — and it shows every time he steps on the field. His favorite moment this season? Landing some good, hard tackles that got the crowd cheering and his teammates fired up.
Off the field, Parker’s drive for excitement doesn’t slow down. He loves dirt bike racing, where his competitive spirit and focus help him push limits just like in football. Whether it’s racing or playing, Parker gives his all — every single time.
When asked what the best part of being on a team is, Parker doesn’t hesitate: “My teammates, friends, and family.” The sense of brotherhood and support is what fuels him, reminding him that every game is bigger than himself.
His favorite player, LeBron James, inspires him with his athleticism and leadership, and his biggest role model is his dad — “because he’s my hero,” Parker says proudly.
His parents’ message perfectly sums up his mindset: “Do good, hit hard, have fun!”
With his heart, grit, and love for the game, Parker Roberts is a player who leaves it all on the field — and always does it with a smile.

Focused, hardworking, and full of enthusiasm, Walker Burkhart is one of the newest rising talents for the Nitro Wildcats baseball team. Wearing number 99, Walker plays both second base and outfield, bringing energy, determination, and teamwork to every game.
Even though this is only his first year playing baseball, Walker is already making an impact on the field. His favorite moment of the season came when he earned the game ball for outstanding batting and fielding — a proud achievement that showed his growing confidence and skill.
Walker’s favorite player, Aaron Judge of the New York Yankees, inspires him to keep improving and to always give his best effort, no matter the challenge. Like his idol, Walker brings focus and dedication to every swing and every play.
When he’s not on the diamond, Walker loves playing on his tablet and riding his bike, balancing his active spirit with fun and creativity. He’s also quick to give credit to those who help him improve. His biggest role model is Coach Matt, who he says motivates him and helps him become a better player every day.
For Walker, the best part of being on a team is seeing his own progress and working together with teammates. “I’m a good batter and getting good at fielding,” he says proudly — proof of the effort he puts in both at practice and during games.
His parents couldn’t be prouder, sharing a heartfelt message that says it all:
“Walker, we are so proud of you! You’re staying focused and working hard to be a good teammate and baseball player!”
With his growing talent, positive attitude, and strong work ethic, Walker Burkhart is showing that great players aren’t just born — they’re built through hard work, teamwork, and love for the game.

With seven years of football experience, Jericho’s journey began with simple backyard passes with his dad — moments that sparked a lifelong love for the sport. That love has only grown stronger, and this season proved it, as Jericho scored multiple touchdowns, becoming a consistent force for the Wildcats’ offense.
When asked what he enjoys most about football, Jericho says it’s all about being around his friends and sharing the thrill of teamwork. His favorite team, WVU, inspires him to play with pride, and his favorite player, Malik Nabers, motivates him to keep pushing for greatness every game.

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 (NIV)
“Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus”
Paul writes in 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 that these three things are of God's will for us in Christ Jesus
1. Find joy in the Gospel and the message of Jesus Christ. Rejoice to God, to the world, to anyone. Rejoice that joy of Jesus.
2. To pray continually, because so many time prayer becomes a task for big moments when we should pray continually, big or small moments, whether we are happy or sad, whether we are winning or losing, there is never a time God doesn't want you to come to Him and reach out in prayer.
3. To give thanks in all circumstances, not just the good. There are plenty of reasons to give thanks. Family, friends, winning the game and being MVP. But do you ever thank God when you are losing? When life is hard, in brokenness, hurt and in pain we can give thankfulness.
In James 1:2-3 it says, "Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance.”
When we let gratitude to shape our circumstances, rather than our circumstances shape our gratitude, we start to walk in God’s will more in our lives. Remember this season of Thanksgiving to be giving thanks in all circumstances.
