Dylan Jamison is a skilled, team-first right winger for the U12 Lightning who brings focus and quiet leadership to the pitch. A Huntington native with seven years of experience, he hit a milestone this season by scoring his first goal while continuing to grow as a leader. Off the field, Dylan enjoys virtual reality, looks up to Cavan Sullivan, cheers for the Philadelphia Union and Marshall, and proudly credits his dad as his biggest role model

Corbyn Hoke is a fun-loving, hard-working catcher for the Fairland and Grasshoppers teams who brings heart and hustle to every game. A Proctorville, Ohio native in his second year playing, he values making new friends and having fun above all else. Off the field, Corbyn loves spending time with his family and proudly looks up to his dad as his biggest role model

Braelynn Gregor is a powerful, versatile softball player from Proctorville, Ohio, with eight years of experience and a deep love for the game. Inspired by her mom, she plays multiple positions and had a standout moment this season with a clutch linedrive catch at first base. Off the field, Braelynn enjoys basketball, volleyball, and working out, looks up to Jules King, and proudly supports the Texas Longhorns

Inspired by his dad, he’s played football for four years and remembers a clutch fumble recovery against Chesapeake as a season highlight. A fan of Tres Maynard and the Michigan Wolverines, Money loves competing alongside his teammates

A two-year football player, he counts forcing a quarterback fumble as a favorite moment this season. Inspired by Lamar Jackson and a Dallas Cowboys fan, Jaxon brings energy, teamwork, and a love for the game to every snap.

From Proctorville, Ohio, Brooke Ingraham made an immediate impact in her first year of football as #1 for the Fairland C Team, playing right tackle with confidence and grit. Her favorite moment came when she tackled the quarterback, a highlight that showed her toughness and determination. A fan of Lamar Jackson and the Dallas Cowboys, Brooke loves cheering on her teammates and being part of a supportive team.

PEACE ON EARTH AND ON THE FIELD

John 14:27 (NIV)“ Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.”

December is supposed to be a season of peace, but for athletes, it often feels like the opposite. Between tournaments, practices, holiday events, and schoolwork, this time of year can get louder, faster, and more stressful than any packed gym or noisy stadium. It’s easy to feel the pressure to perform, to meet expectations, or to keep up with the pace of everything happening around you.

But in John 14:27, Jesus reminds us that He offers a kind of peace the world can’t give. Not the temporary calm that comes from winning a game, getting a break from school, or finally catching your breath, but a steady, quiet, unshakeable peace that settles deep in your heart. It’s a peace that stays with you in the huddle, on the field, on the bus, and even during the moments when life feels overwhelming.

When the scoreboard is close, when you’re nervous before a big play, or when you’re trying to balance sports with everything else going on this month, remember that God’s peace doesn’t depend on circumstances. You can step onto any field or court with confidence, not because everything is perfect, but because Jesus is with you.

This Christmas season, let His peace guide your attitude, your effort, and the way you handle victories and setbacks. And as you experience His peace, look for chances to spread it to your teammates, through encouragement, patience, and the way you carry yourself.

Because in a world full of noise, an athlete who plays with Christ’s peace stands out like a light on a winter night.
