Tribute to Women Nominator Toolkit
Tribute to Women Awards honors executive and emerging leaders that represent Bay Area women of impact. For more than 40 years, the Awards have served as an opportunity for companies to shine a light on women’s leadership. Your YWCA encourages you to celebrate your Honoree(s) both within your organization and externally.
Some suggestions and tools available to help you promote your Honoree(s) award and your company’s commitment to advancing women in the workplace:
TOOLS
● Tribute to Women Awards logo - available for your use here, should you choose to create your own announcement materials. Please do not alter the logos provided in any way. If you have questions about usage, please connect with us at philanthropy@yourywca.org. Please ensure you are using these current versions of the awards logo that have our full name YWCA Golden Gate Silicon Valley (not just YWCA Silicon Valley).
● Press release template - you may use the provided template with space reserved for remarks from your company or pull details about the event from the template to create your own release
● Share our social media announcement that is scheduled to be posted on LinkedIn Wednesday, March 11, 2026, with the sample copy below.
● [Company name] is committed to the advancement of women in the workplace. We look forward to joining YWCA Golden Gate Silicon Valley in recognizing the leadership and accomplishments of some of the Bay Area’s brightest and boldest women leaders, including [Company name’s] own [Honoree name]. Congratulations, [Honoree name]!
● Be sure to tag YWCA’s LinkedIn page.
SUGGESTIONS
● Distribute the press release to your contacts and newswire, if applicable
● Share the news on your company intranet
● Announce the award in your company newsletter
● Post about the award on your social media channels
● Publish a story for your company blog
● Create a Kudoboard or similar e-card where staff can write personal notes of congratulations to the Honoree

● Promoting the event
A limited number of tickets and tables are available for purchase. Tickets and tables are available until April 16 or until sold out. Tickets and tables may be purchased at bit.ly/tribute2026.
● Honoring your Honoree(s) Donations in the name of your Honoree(s) can be made at bit.ly/tribute2026. YWCA Golden Gate Silicon Valley will let Honorees know about the donations made in their name.
