Your YWCA’s wraparound services are the foundation that enables us to build bridges to equity by ensuring each person who enters our doors receives affirming and empowering care that’s unique to their personal journey: Sofia, a survivor of domestic violence, is in the driver’s seat of her healing journey as she works with Your YWCA to obtain housing, legal and immigration assistance, reliable transportation, childcare services, and disability resources for her child. Through selfadvocacy and YWCA’s wraparound solutions, Sofia has gained stability after returning to the workforce, and can now focus on her and her child’s aspirational goals beyond their basic human rights to safety, freedom, and dignity. I am so proud of the life that Sofia has built for herself and her family, and I’m honored that YWCA could be there for her when she needed it the most.
