The tiniest pizzeria A Sarasota company is changing vending machine expectations. By this summer, Shaun Marquardt’s company will begin working with local pizzerias to stock pizza-slice machines. “We want to make it so it’s the pizza shop’s own machine,” he said. “The machine will have their logo on it and serve fresh slices of their pizza.”

Israel’s birthday
On April 15, Jewish organizations, including the Temple Emanu-El and the Jewish Federation of Sarasota-Manatee, celebrated the 70th anniversary of the founding of Israel. The Temple Emanu-El’s campus was transformed into a “Little Israel.” Families visited rooms devoted to the various religious and ethnic groups that live in Israel. The Jewish Federation held a celebration at the Boys & Girls Club of Sarasota County.
