Church of the Redeemer Episcopal Church got into the season of baking Jan. 6 with its own version of the “Great British Bake Off.” The intergenerational bake-off had elementary school students and 90-year-olds alike enter the competition, which was judged by the clergy on staff at Church of the Redeemer. There were more than 20 entries in the firsttime contest. Winners are expected to be announced later this week.
