The school’s annual Grand Reunion welcomes anyone who attended SHS, regardless of when or whether they graduated. Happy birthday, leaplings! Sarasota Memorial Hospital just welcomed eight newborns into the world who now have to wait 1,461 days to celebrate their next birthday. Only 0.07% of the world shares the delight of being born on Feb. 29. Known as leapers or leaplings, the eight new babies, five girls and three boys, have the big decision of deciding to be a “28ther” or “1ster” when it comes to future birthday celebrations.
