The Circus Arts Conservatory celebrates its 25th anniversary with another slate of performers under the big top. CAC founders Dolly Jacobs and Pedro Reis are keeping Sarasota’s circus legacy alive with a spectacle you just can’t see in many other places.

Sarasota Ballet presents a pair of premiere performances, one choreographed by company dancer Arcadian Broad and the other by Jessica Lang. The Broad ballet will be a world premiere. Sarasota Ballet danced the Lang ballet last summer at the Joyce Theatre in New York; now you can see it here at home. The program closes with Ashton’s “Facade.”

This year’s event — which benefits Make-A-Wish’s many wish programs for critically ill children — will make a move to the Circus Arts Conservatory for a big top bash. The extra space will likely help with the temperature as well.
