Charting a course Trying to find your way around Longboat Key with a little more artistic pizazz than that GPS map on your phone or with something the auto club handed you? Longboat Key Chamber of Commerce recently rolled out a guide to the island that focuses on businesses and areas of interest in addition to roads. It’s available on the chamber website or in-person at the chamber office.

Rotary gets a citation The Rotary Club of Longboat Key has been honored by the organization’s district governor for meeting goals that are meant to boost the club as a whole. The Longboat Key chapter, presided over by Brad Marner since June, is among half the Rotary clubs in the district to receive the citation. The club has been meeting virtually during the COVID-19 pandemic but has donated to first responders and helped purchase emergency equipment for them, among other projects. The club meets twice a month. Learn more by emailing info@LongboatKeyRotary.org.
