Patterson was named the prom queen and Freeman was the prom king. Tana Phelps, a teacher and junior class sponsor who helped organize the prom, said the evening’s event was a way for the students to unwind, relax and get dressed up with their peers outside of school. It was also a way to say goodbye to the outgoing seniors.
