“P

arty with a Purpose” was the theme of Saks Fifth Avenue’s 12th annual Key to the Cure, and for good reason. The event brings community members together to snack, sip and shop in support of Sarasota Memorial Healthcare Foundation. Since 2005, SMHF has raised more than $1.3 million for women’s cancer programs at Sarasota Memorial Health Care System through the event. Organizers sold more than 1,000 tickets for the fundraiser, where guests enjoyed performances by several DJs and musicians along with Westcoast Black Theatre Troupe and Sarasota Cuban Ballet School.
