t may not have been New Year’s Eve, but Saks Fifth Avenue Sarasota was sparkling Oct. 11 from floor to ceiling. The occasion was the 20th anniversary of Key to the Cure, during which the retail store hosted 900 guests to raise money for Sarasota Memorial Healthcare Foundation. The annual event has chosen to support Sarasota Memorial Health Foundation for the past 13 years. This year, organizers did not appoint chairpersons, choosing instead to honor women who are fighting breast cancer. Upbeat music welcomed guests, encouraging a little dancing from the start.
